**Carter's POV**
Ryan and I have settled into the new house and now are talking about the wedding
"I kinda want a winter wedding" I told Ryan as we sat on the couch watching another episode of Rick and Morty
"A winter wedding in Scranton? There will be a lot of snow"
"I know, but if we had it inside"
"That could work"
"Maybe we can go look at venues after my trip to New York."
"That will work"
I rolled my eyes and got my binder with all my wedding stuff in it. Ryan was so focused in on that show he couldn't think straight. I put my binder on the coffee table and laid on Ryan's chest.
"Are you tired?" Ryan asked
"Yes, I'm glad the house is done, but I'm exhausted"
"Take a nap. I'll still be here when you wake up" he said laying down on the couch and grabbing a blanket
Cupcake came and currled up with us. I laid my head down on Ryan's chest and fell asleep shortly after.
**Ryan's POV**
I lightly ran my hand through Carter's hair as she slept. I grabbed her binder looking at each of the pages. Carter started making this binder the day after I proposed. Carter didn't want bridesmaids or groomsmen. I don't even think she wants a flower girl. I looked at the page where she had all the food ideas. She wanted chicken and squash as the main course, and she hated cake so she wanted cookies instead. She had nothing in here about her dress. I put it back on the coffee table, and noticed Carter's phone light up. She had a text
From: Mom
Have you talked to Ryan about what we talked about yet??
I wonder what they discussed? Would Carter bring it up? Should I bring it up? Now I'm stressed and don't want to know.
**Carter's POV**
I woke up on the couch. Ryan was still watching TV.
"Have a nice nap?" Ryan asked rubbing my back
"Mhm," I grabbed my phone seeing a text from my mom and I grounded
"What's wrong?"
"My mother. She asked me if we could get married in Philadelphia so my dad doesn't have to take time off of work"
"Oh, I don't know-"
"It's ok. I don't want to. I'd rather get married here."
"We can do that. It's whatever You want, but I would like to have it here"
"Then Scranton it is" I said kissing him
"Are you going to New York next week?"
"Yeah, hopefully I find a dress"
"I'm sure you will"
"Do you have any colors you want for the wedding?" I asked
Ryan shrugged "I like blue"
"We could have a winter wonderland wedding!!"
"Whatever you want, babe"
"I want you and me to go up to the bedroom, and ya know" I said winking
"You mean you wanna go upstairs and finish your nap"
"Yes! I race you" I said running to our room
