**Carter's POV**
"You're going where? Carter the wedding is a month from today are you crazy!?!?!" Jamie said as I packed mine and Ryan's suitcases
"We're just going to Arizona for the weekend. I'll be back Sunday night and I'll take care of all the RSVPS and all that"
"What about your dress?" She asked pitching the bridge of her nose
I laughed "Jamie! Calm down!! It's my wedding I'm stressed enough."
"Sorry. I know you have everything handled"
"Ryan just thinks we need a clam weekend before all the crazy wedding stuff starts"
"Ok, have a great weekend and if you need anything done here let me know"
"I will. Thank you for everything. Now, can you drive us to the airport"
"Gladly"
**Ryan Ashley's POV**
I'm meeting up with Kelly, Tayler, and Jamie for lunch.
"So, that's this about?" Kelly asked
"Well, I know Ryan and Carter aren't having parties before the wedding which is fine, but remember how Carter is gonna show us how to make her cookies at my house?"
"Yes..." Tayler said
"My boyfriend and some of Ryan's other friends are gonna take him to dinmer and to a movie while we make cookies so I was wondering if maybe we should get Carter a few gifts?"
"Maybe. What kind of gifts were you thinking?" Tayler asked
"I personally was gonna get her some stuff for the wedding night"
"What kind of stuff because Carter is very private about stuff like that"
"Oh, nothing crazy! I just got her some perfume and lotion and a nice underwear set"
"She'll probably like that. Maybe we should all get her something like that"
"That's a good idea" Kelly agreed
"There's Jamie" I said
"Sorry I'm late. I was taking Ryan and Carter to the airport they're going to Arizona for the weekend"
"Must be nice" Kelly said
"What does that mean?" Jamie asked
"I'm just staying it must be nice to have a boyfriend with money. I can bearly go to Pittsburgh"
"Don't be jealous of Carter. She works hard too you know"
"Does she? Because since she met him she's bearly been at work and she lives this life where she thinks she's better than everyone else. I don't care who her boyfriend is she isn't better than anyone"
"Just leave. I'm not gonna sit here and let you talk about my best friend like that." Jamie said
"Fine. Come on Tayler let's go"
"What? No. I don't think of Carter like that. You need to leave though"
"Fine. Side with them." Kelly said grabbing her bag "Oh, and tell Carter I'm not coming to her little cheap wedding"
"What's her deal?" I asked
Tayler shrugged "no idea. She's been kinda bitter about Carter lately."
"Well, guess it'll just be the three of us" Jamie said
"Hey, I'm not mad at that. We're gonna have an awesome party for Carter" I said smiling
"Cheers to that!!" Jamie and Tayler said holding up their glasses
This chapter took a little different turn that what I planned but I still hope it was a good one! There will be one more chapter then the wedding festivities will begin!!!
