“So how are we going to do this?” I asked Juliet who was sitting on my bed next to me.

“I have no idea, how would we get them in?”

“uh…” I could tell she was thinking because she began pacing the room. When she thinks, it has to be silent, and she starts pacing, and she squints her eyes closed a little.

            “Anything?” I question.

“Aren’t you thinking at all too? I shouldn’t be the only one thinking here!” she told me still pacing.

“Okay, Okay. I’m thinking.” I told her. “I’ve got it!” I nearly yelled at the realization a moment later.

Everyone was asleep, or in their bedroom now, and it was time to put our plan in action. I snuck out of my bedroom first, making my way down the hall to the basement door, I opened it slowly and it let out a loud creek as I did so, I looked around making sure no one heard and started walking down the stairs. In the basement was an arcade, and not just a game room with a couple games, no, a full on arcade. I walked down as all the lights from the games lit up the room. I texted Jules telling her to come down, and that the coast was clear. Minutes after she showed up in the basement too, turning on the light as well,

“No, leave it off, it looks cooler.” I giggled as she shrugged and turned it back off. I made my way to the back of the massive basement and to the back door, opening it to sneakily let Jay and Nathan in.

“Shhh,” I whispered as they walked in with big smiles on their faces.

“Told you I would see you,” Jay whispered to me kissing my cheek.

“I found a way, not you.” I giggled as they took their shoes off and looked around,

“I don’t even think our house is the size of this arcade,” Nathan said shocked.

“Yeah, well, its huge.” I giggled.

“That’s what she said,” Jay mumbled.

“Did you really?” I laughed at him. Nathan spotted Juliet on the other side over all the arcade games and flashing lights and nodded my way before heading over there. Before I knew it Jay had pulled me into a hug,

“Well, this is an interesting second date,” he chuckled.

“You’re the one who decided to like someone who is still young enough to get grounded,” I mumbled into his chest. He let go of me and looked down at me and smiled,

“It’s only a four year difference!” he defended himself and I shrugged.

I walked over to a couch that was next to where we were standing and sat down. Jay came over and sat down placing my legs over his.

            “So,” he started.

            “So?” I mimicked him.

“I know everything about you. We’re best friends, what is the point in going out on these dates? We know each other well enough and well It’s not like you don’t have feelings for me. I know you do, and-”

“Where are you going with this, James?” I asked looking over at him with a smirk.

“Can’t you just be my girlfriend already?” he bluntly asked giving me those beautiful puppy dog eyes. But he caught me off guard, and I really didn’t know how to respond. I wasn’t quite ready for him to be my boyfriend no matter how well we knew each other. I got up from the couch and grabbed his hand trying to pull him up.
