A sharp pain shot through my entire head as my eyes creaked open slowly. I brought my palm to my head rubbing it gently as I looked around the room nervously, noticing quickly that nothing really was out of place. I sat up as sudden dizziness hit me and I had to stay put for a moment knowing I would either throw up or fall over, and neither of those options sounded very pleasant. I slowly got out of bed and walked to my bedroom door cautiously opening it. I looked down the hall to see all the boys cleaning in the living room, which was an absolute total mess from what I could see. I snuck down the hall quietly, assuming Allison was upstairs; I opened Harry’s bedroom door quietly to see Allison passed out on the bed, I walked over carefully not to wake and startle her and sat at the end of the bed placing my hand on her arm,

“Alli…” I trailed off as he opened her eyes in confusion,

“What time is it?” he groaned out practically reenacting me waking up a few minutes before.

“Like, three in the afternoon.” I mumbled quietly to her as she sat up slowly,

“What time did we go to bed?” she questioned but I just shrugged,

“Do I look like I know?” I responded sarcastically and she nodded lightly. Allison was the only person ever who I could snap at sarcastically and still knows that I don’t mean it, we both just had that type of personality. “Do you remember anything past singing karaoke?” I asked nervously as she shook her head,

“Oh god and that wasn’t even that into the party…” she trailed off worried. She stood up as I followed her to the door and down the hall,

“Last I saw the boys were cleaning.” I told her as we walked down the stairs and down the hallway towards the living room, seeing the house nearly clean. I slowly walked in as all the heads turned towards us, including my dad, who was standing in the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee. Wow, coffee sounded really good right now.

“How you guys feelin’?” My dad looked at me with a slight smirk on his face, a face that said he knew everything. I shrugged and walked to the kitchen grabbing two mugs and pouring coffee for Alli and me. I handed Allison her mug and looked up at my dad who was now standing next to me.

“Am I in trouble?” I asked worried as he shook his head,

“No, you’re not. But I am going to have to tell your mom, Alli.” He looked at Allison but she was too hungover to even care.

“What time did you get home?” I asked him confused as he took a sip of his coffee. My dad always drank his coffee black, I’ve tried it a few times and I just don’t know how he does it.

“I got home this morning around nine.” He told me, “To a huge mess, may I add. And then I proceeded to find Niall sleeping in your bed with you, but he told me not to wake you, and that last night was pretty crazy.” he told me honestly as I looked across the island at Niall as he smirked comfortingly. I sighed in relief as I realized my dad hadn’t showed up at the party though, although, I might not have remembered even if he did.

“This coffee is gross.” Allison blurted out as my dad narrowed his eyes at her,

“I like my coffee.” He retorted as Alli let out a giggle,

“Well I don’t.” she told him confidently while pouring it down the drain.

“Sorry dad, I agree with Allison.” I told him quietly while slowly pouring it down the drain too.
