She leans forward to the spiky girl named Jaz as I’ve known. She kissed her forehead then she cried siliently. She’s rubbing Jaz’s hand then Jaz open her eyes. I’m still here outside the E.R but I can see them through the window glass. Pain squeezed to my heart, I really don’t know them both but I can feel the pain in their situation right now. I poke my head to the door to say goodbye but this is not the right time.
“Jaz….” Audrey said then she sob.
“Not now, please…..” She add.
“Sorry..” The first word camed up to Jaz mouth.
“I can’t…..stay any longer…..just listen…….and obey me …no more question. Understand?” Jaz said.
Audrey simply nod her head absently.
Iniangat ni Jaz ang kamay niya at inalis ang singsing niya. She place the ring in Audrey’s palm.
“Magreretired na ako, Drey” sabi niya then she smile.
Isinubsob ni Audrey ang mukha niya sa braso ni Jaz. Her shoulder shaking from crying. She can’t contain it anymore, I know it, she can’t.
“No… please.. not like this” she said it with a sob.
“Sshhhhhh…Quiet.” Jaz said it like just a whisper.
“James…Rick” sabi niya. Lumapit yung dalawang lalaking kasama ni Audrey.
“Kayo ang magiging Right hand and Left hand ni Audrey, okay?” sabi ni Jaz.
“Huh?” pagtataka ng dalawa.
“Audrey Valdez.. You are now the Leader of the Fraternity.” Jaz said, she kissed Audrey in her forehead. She asked Audrey to lean forward so she be more closer then Jaz look at me in the eye, not for vegeneance or hatred but pity, she whisper something to Audrey. Then, she left. Audrey cry almost thirty minutes, then she sit straight and up wiping the tears in her face and she fix her hair. She stand confidently, like, there’s nothing bad happen, and she wears the ring and her index finger.
“I am Audrey Valdez. The Leader in our fraternity. James and Rick, would you like to be my Right and Left Hand?” she ask it to them as she laid her hand to both of them. They grab her hand and pull her, they grin like there’s no corpse beside them.
“ As for your first job for me” she looks at me, I flinched.
“ Take that man with us” she said.
“Pwede ba bitawan niyo ako, kailangan ko nang umuwi” sabi ko sa James at Rick na to.
“AHAHAHAHA” yun lang sagot nila -__-
“Ano ba gusto niyo?” tanong ko sa kanila.
“ikaw!” sigaw ni Audrey sa akin.
“Ayoko!” sigaw ko sa kanila.
“Masasama kayo ! nananakit kayo ! pumapatay kayo ! nambubugbog kayo ! nagnanakaw ! “ sigaw ko sa kanilang lahat. Nagseryoso si Audrey at lumapit siya sa akin. As in sobrang lapit , amoy ko ang dugong nasa uniform niya.
“Dyan kayo magaling, magjudge!” sigaw niya sa mukha ko.
“Eh totoo naman eh” sagot ko pa. Sige sagot pa ako Im really DEAD.
Not just like sa mga napapanood sa T.V na ang mga Fraternity tumatambay sa Haunted Buildings. Pero sila, ibang klase kulang na lang yata eh King and Queen sa sobrang sophisticated ng paligid. Tinulak nila ako sa isang sofa. Naupo lang ako dun habang nililibot ng mata ko ang paligid.
“First time?” tanong ni Audrey na nakaupo sa desk crossed arms.
“No” sabi ko sabay yuko.
“Sabi ni Jaz kailangan mong sumama sa amin.” Sabi niya. Napatingin ako sa kanya.
“Teka ba-bakit wa-wala akong ginagawan sa inyo.” Uutal kong sabi. Naglakad si Audrey palapit sa akin, she leans. She smell like a rose with blood. Beautiful and Fierce.
“Don’t worry di ka namin papatayin” sabi niya sabay giggles.
Nakatingin lang ako sa kanya. Nakasuot siya ng ibang uniform di ko siya schoolmates.Good. I admit she’s drop-dead gorgeous. But dangerous. She flick her finger in front of me.
“Are you listening, Deadbrain?” tanong niya.
“Ummm Im oh, yeah, im sorry what is it?” sabi ko.
“ Why boys so stupid?” sabi niya natawa na lang ang dalawang lalaki sa likuran niya.
“Uwi ka na” sabi niya, nabigla ako.
“Really?” sabi ko di ako makapaniwala eh.
“Ayaw mo sige dito ka na lang.” seryosong sabi niya.
“No!” sabi ko.
“Okay but,” sabi niya, natatakot ako sa but niya ah.
“ Your going back here tomorrow, at exactly 4:30pm. Get it?” Sabi niya. I just nod.
“If you didn’t came, we will hunt you.” She said then she lick her lips, she looks at me like a good appetizer.
