Chapter 3: An old friend

Bella's POV

After that whole event, Daniel's friends (hopefully soon to be my friends) asked what i was doing after this and I said I was planning to head to ikea, considering I still need things for my apartment. "Oh we will tag along with you." Jonah..I think his name is Jonah, jumped in. "Ooh yeah I want to help you pick things for your apartment!" Julia excitedly said. Daniel looked flushed with embarrassment from his friends, "only if that's okay with you.." Daniel added on. I shrugged and motioned for them to come along. I mean they are all pretty cool. Might as well get to know them better. I decided to call Lexie to come along too. I had a feeling she would like Julia.
After Lexie agreeing to come along, we leave to ikea. She said she would meet us there.

When arriving to our destination, I see Jonah and corbyn being very very hyper. Must have been the 3 cups of coffee they had. Daniel, Zach and Jack were left to deal with them as Julia drags me away from them so we could look for Lexie. "So, Daniel huh?" Julia says, with a smirk on her face. I laugh. A little too nervously. "Daniel seems like a very nice boy and very easy on the eyes too but I don't think I have the time to commit in a relationship right now." I truthfully tell the blonde beauty. Julia looked a little let down but completely understood. I obviously told her about my archery goals. I was devoted to succeeding okay? Can you blame me? Besides, Daniel and I had just met. It's not like he's in love with me. After an awkward silence I bring up some more conversation. "So are you and jack a thing?" I ask her. Julia's face brightens. "It's a little bit complicated." She states. "Explain."
"Well you see, Jack and I kind of confessed our feelings for each other months ago. I met them on the streets and I guess they liked my personality and decided to keep me as a close friend. That was about a year ago. Jack and I instantly became the closest with eachother. We were like best friends until he said it out of nowhere. The words 'I like you' came out of his mouth."
"So why aren't you dating yet?" I ask.

"I have no clue honestly. We are still best friends. There's no awkwardness between us. We just act like a couple but I'm waiting for him to make a move.. whenever that will be." Julia remarks. I smile at how adorable that is.
"It's been months! If he doesn't make the move soon I'll make the move for him." Julia laughs. "Your definitely a keeper Bella." She says.
"I've been getting that a lot from you guys lately..." I was cut off by a body tackling me to the ground.
"HOLY FRICKE-" Julia was taken by surprise and backed up. "You must be Lexie. Yep we are best friends now. I love your first impression." Julia laughs. Lexie gets up and bows "Thank you very much..name?" Lexie asks. "Julia" after I see the two girls getting along well, I decide to jump into conversation. "See i knew you girls would become close friends..oh boy I think I died just now." I say, still in the floor a little woozy... I probably look like I'm seeing those stars that cartoons do.
The girls just stare at me and smirk. I look at them confused. Suddenly Daniel comes running to me. "Oh my goodness are you okay bella?" He asks, concern written all over his voice and him helping me up. I nod. The rest of the boys come walking in shortly behind him.
"Hah Bella you got tackled so hard!" Zach snorted. Lexie laughed along and Zach saw her. "Hi I'm Zach, you are?" He asks, shaking her hand for way too long and staring way too hard. Ooh someone has a crushhh. "Lexie. Bella's friend." She states and lets go of his hand, looking a little weirder out. Hm. Interesting. As Zach walks away, flushed with embarrassment,I see Lexie blushing. Oh she's acting like he's a creep. Hmm. (A/n 😏)
As we walk around a little more around IKEA, I pick up some more lights and decorations with the help of the girls. After a while I see a security guard escorting a young girl out of the building. She had an air horn in her hand. I make Daniel hold my things as I investigate further. I approach the guard. "Excuse me sir, but why are escorting her out?" I ask.
"She has been up to mischievous behavior. She has been going around using this here air horn to scare customers in the store." The girl smirks. I smile. She reminds me of my best friends back home, I missed her dearly. I decided to help the girl out. "Well sir, she's actually my little sister. So if you could hand her to me that would be great thank you." I say.
The guard refuses,"ma'am a prank like this cannot go unpunished." I think again. "Here I'll take her air horn away from her. She won't cause anymore trouble I swear." I tell the guard. He contemplates this in his head and finally gives in. "If I see her pulling a stunt like this agaim then she is banned." He says. I agree. The guard then walks away. "Thanks for the help." The girl said. "No problem, I'm bella by the way."
"I'm Angie. Why did you help me out anyways?" She asked. "Well you seemed like you needed it and you reminded me a lot of my really close friend back home." I explain. Angie nods and thanks me again for my help and I walk off.
I see all my new friends looking at me jaws dropped. "Wow you are REALLY nice." Corbyn says. "I know."
"Who was this old friend?" Daniel asked me. "Oh her, she was one of my best friends. She was really rebellious and mischievous. She was very fun actually. She likes to get into trouble. Her name was Camila Mae (a/n *chokes on water*)" I explain. "Oh.. tell us more about her." Daniel said.
"She liked grafitti and had a sister named janelle, those two did EVERYTHING together. We were all close friends but I finished school before them so I moved here to achieve my dreams. I still keep in touch with them, I heard they got boyfriends and are more than happy with them. Can't remember their names. Yeah, I really miss Camila, but that's a whole different story." (A/n literally, a WHOLE different story) I finished explaining. I finish explaining. Daniel smiling along with everyone else. "That Camila girl seems pretty dope." Zach retorts. (A/n oh Zach if only you knew how "dope"she was to you.) moving on.
