Gone

He's really gone...

We all didn't know where to go so Ethan's house was the best option

Brie and I were sitting on the couch when Ethan said "I'm uh gonna head upstairs for a bit"

We sat there in silence until I said "what did you mean when you said "after everything I said" to Olivia"

She immediately lets her head fall

"It's fine if you don't wanna say,...I just thought that, by the way you sounded, maybe you needed to talk about it"

"Please, if there's anyone who needs comfort it's you and Ethan"

"Brie you've known him your whole life. You guys were close"

"Yeah" she let out. "I think there is something you should know"

"I like Grayson" she avoids eye contact "Well...liked"

I was taken back but she kept going "I've liked him every since middle school"

"Oh my god. Why didn't you tell me? I would have never dated him if I knew you liked him for that long"

"I was afraid. I knew he didn't feel the same. Plus it had been going on for too long and you barely knew me then. And it's ok because you two were perfect for together" she smiled as a tear rolled down her cheek

"Hey" I shuffled closer to her "since you're gonna live an eternity you're gonna go through a lot to loss. And it's tragic to say but this is only the beginning, but I promise, we will get through this together"

We both hear smashing and bumps coming from upstairs

We run and open the door to see Ethan in the middle of a broken and tore up room

It was obvious he had been crying

"Ethan" I said softly. "It's my fault. It's all my fault. I promised myself I would protect him but I failed. I'm the worst brother ever I let my brother be killed"

He was pacing around the room like a maniac as he spoke until I grabbed his face and made him look at me

"Hey. Hey look at me" he didn't keep his head still and avoided my eyes "look at me"

He finally looks into my eyes "This is not your fault. You didn't do this. This is Kate's doing and you are not to blame" I let go of his face to turn towards Brie

"We are all in this together. We are going to get through this"

We decided we would stay at their house for the night. Just to make sure he was ok

Brie and I decided to sleep in their guest room

I had to go to the bathroom at around 11 o'clock at night so I got up and walked down the hallway. As I was walking I stopped and saw graysons room. Empty and quiet

His bed was made and everything was just as he left it

I then heard noise coming from near by so I walked near the door that shined light through the bottom

I walked into Ethan's room to see him. Dressed. Looking like he was going somewhere

"Why aren't you asleep?" He asked me. "Why aren't you?"

He grabs his keys from his dresser "I just gotta go somewhere"

He grabs his jacket from his bed and starts to walk out the door. He's blocked by my body. "Where are you going?" I ask once more. "Seriously Bella this doesn't concern you" "E. Stop being stubborn and tell me where the hell youre going"
