Grayson's POV

The next day at school I met up with Olivia as she walks into school

"Hey Grayson. Why so jumpy?"

"I need answers. I found out something about Isabella a few days ago. I told her I was fine but as I started to think more I realized I'm not"

"What did you find out?"

"I don't know exactly. Her eyes got red and her veins under her eyes were just how you described. But...she can't be a" "a vampire. I know she's one, I saw it"

"When? How?" I asked her

"She bit me"

"She...hurt you?" I say to her concerned. I never thought Isabella could or WOULD try to hurt someone

"Yeah, but after she did it I saw the look on her face, full of guilt she didn't mean it; she felt sorry. But her face before she bite me was a whole other story. It was like she wanted to take everything away from me"

"Im so sorry" she nods her head accepting my comforting statement

"I need you to find out one more thing. What Ethan has to do with all of this. He gotten stronger and even tried to hurt my friends. Plus he's been acting really different lately" I say to her and she nods

She turned to find Ethan a find him walking into school and purposely bumps into him

"Sorry my bad" she says "yeah. Your bad" he replies

She walks but to me in shock. "What was that?" I ask her

"I saw something. Just like the time when Isabella touched me to bite me. I saw the same thing I saw in her; darkness"

"So he's a vampire" I ask. "No no. It was much more powerful. He's more than that. I just don't know what. Either way I think you should stay away from them" she says to me.

"Olivia I can't just stay away from them I-" "listen we've both learned today that all my families stories are true and if it continues to be true they are both dangerous heartless killers who can't be trusted"

"But I've known Isabella for awhile and she's not murderous at all" "yeah but really HOW well do you know her. She could be hiding anything. The one thing we need to do right now is know what they want, and there is only one way to learn it. Torture"

Isabella's POV

I have to meet Brie for this cheerleading practice thing

She gave me one of the schools extra uniforms and I thought I looked pretty good in it

I was a few steps away from the gym and I made eye contact familiar face, it was Caroline. I guess she was one of the judges

I smile and continue walking and then I felt a hand shove me into a class room right next to the gym

When I was shoved I didn't see who it was; but then as I stood more still I could focus on the figure more closely and realized it was Grayson

"Grayson what are you doing?" I ask him. "I'm sorry" is all he says "About wha-"

In the middle of my sentence I felt someone stabbed me in the neck. I started to get weak and fall to the floor
