51~Daddy Issues

It's been a couple months but it still feels like yesterday when they left

I missed them every moment of everyday. Going out seemed pointless and all I wanted to do was stay in bed

It's times like this I wish my mother was still alive

For the first couple days I would try to call and text them but of course they wouldn't answer

I had no idea where they were

After Alex noticed he helped me get my mind off or it. We both like most of the same things and we've really grown a bond to each other

Grayson's POV

"Where to next?" He says

Being on the road had be so freeing for the both of us

We could go wherever we want and stay for however long we want

"Don't know. We should be coming up to Colorado right now" he nods and I put my eyes back on the road

It's weird

He's been calm this entire trip

He hasn't mentioned Isabella once and every time I ask about it, he always changes the subject and if he does, he doesn't say her name

He thinks he's fooling me but he's not. I know when somethings wrong

I've even offered to take him back home but he wouldn't let me

He pulls out a blood bag and starts drinking

He then holds it out, offering, but I refuse

"I'm off the real stuff"

"Suit yourself" he takes another sip

I've gotten better at control but I still don't feel right killing people to get blood or stealing people's blood so until then I'm on a strict animal diet

"She did the same thing" "Who? Isabella?"

He nods "Yeah. And she cracked just like you will"

"I'm not giving up the human blood, I'm just taking a little break from it" "well if you ask me that's stupid. It's a vampires nature to hunt and kill" "good thing I didn't ask you"

"Did we really have to strip your motorcycle to the car? I can feel it weighing us down"

"Did you really think I would leave my baby alone without me? If you did you're crazy"

Jason's POV

I see Alex sitting on the couch

I try to make my way to the kitchen but of course he notices

"Whatca doing pop?"

"None of your business"

"Woah. Why the attitude?" "Don't act dumb. You know what you did"

"But does Isabella?" I break eye contact "that's what I thought"

"If you think you can run over here and ruin our lives you've got another thing coming" "I can't wait to see what you'll do to stop me"
