Brie's POV

She looks at the monitor and the room is silent

"Everything seems to be ok. Don't worry, you're half way there. These baby's will be here in no time"

She leaves the room which leaves me and James alone

The doctors told us we could find out the genders but we decided to wait. I think it's two boys but James thinks it's a girl and a boy. I guess we'll have to wait and see

James has been there for me this entire journey. Which he should be, their his kids. His and Jenny's. Not mine. But, because this will be my only pregnancy I will ever have, I can already feel myself connected with the babies so much

It's been a week since we got the note and nothing has happened yet. I would like to believe she gave up but I'm certain she hasn't

Before heading home we stopped at a coffee shop close by

We began talking which was weird because even through all this I still didn't really know him

"Brie I know this is crazy and we don't know each other very well so if you wanna ask me anything, you can"

I think for a bit. "Who did you kill? To trigger the curse"

He put his head down and looked at the table. "I was on the wrestling team in high school. One day, during a match, I beat this guy. He didn't like that at all and scheduled a fight outside of school. I didn't want to fight him but he kept taunting me. All I remember is smashing his back onto the concrete"

I nod. Not knowing what to say

"If you don't mind me asking...what happened to you? I mean even though we didn't know each other growing up I would still see you all the time. I would've never guessed this would happen to you"

"It was Kate, Melissa and Michaels sister. She needed more power so she did this sacrifice. She needed a witch, Petrova blood, a werewolf and a vampire. She kidnaped me and Grayson. All I can remember is running and soon Grayson's arms were around my neck. And then everything went black. They compelled him to kill me. I woke up and after we were all safe I made the decision that I wanted to die. I didn't want to be a vampire. I saw what Ethan and Isabella were going through. But clearly that plan didn't work out"

I saw him look at me in petty. "I'm so sorry" "I am too. But what's done is done. We can't change it"

Isabella's POV

"Best idea you've ever thought of" "I know. Plus we're kinda saving the earth. No more extra water"

I laughed and check the clock that was visible from the room

4:30

I get out and wrap a towel around myself. I walk to the sink and hear him get out and wrap himself as well

He put his arms around my wrist and set his chin on my shoulder

"What's the hurry?" He asks. "Nothing. Just signed up for extra class today to get re caught up"

"I could help you"

"What do you know about communication?" I joke. "I talked my way into dating you didn't I?"

I laugh and turn to him. He cupped my face with his hands and kissed me

I smiled at him. Hating to lie to him. But I knew he won't let me go

I get dressed and head to the woods
