Brie runs around the venue making sure everything was in the right place
"No I said the cake was on the left and gifts were on the right. It's classic wedding knowledge. Weren't you trained for this?"
Olivia and I walk up to her "having fun there?"
"No. These idiots clearly don't know what they're doing" "can we do anything to help?" I ask
She looks at me with doubt "Brie I swear I won't mess anything up"
"No. It's just that if you get hurt or break your back picking up something we won't be able to heal you" "Brie I've been human for a week. I think I got it down"
I feel so alive
Cheerful, genuinely happy
I was kinda hoping my powers would come back but they haven't, and I'm starting to think they never will
"Seriously everything's fine. Jenny is upstairs with her dress. James is with Grayson and Ethan so all there is to do is get the guest ready and get into our dresses"
Jenny had chosen these long nude dresses for the bridesmaids so that's what Brie, Olivia and I wore

When Jenny told us that she wanted us to be her bridesmaids we were in total shock. She said that we made her feel like she could be herself and that we had more of a friendship than any other the girls she went to high school with
Once I get into my dress and makeup I head to the snack bar near the garden. Now as a human I could finally enjoy human foods, which were amazing
"Woah there don't choke" I turn around to see Grayson in a suit and tie
"It's just so good"
He laughs "So how does it feel being normal?" "Amazing. You feel everything. Instead of being burdened by guilt you can actually live"
"Yeah its a fun time" I heard slight sadness in his voice
"Why didn't you take it? Why did you give it to Ethan?" "Because I put you first. I put Ethan first. I want you to be happy"
I smile. "Speaking of, where is he?" "I saw him walk down there" he points towards a path
I walk until I see him all dressed up with his hands in his pockets, just looking off at the mountains
He turns to see me and just stands there, staring. He looks at me up and down
I walk closer and he begins "you look amazing" "it's not all done I still have hair and then Brie organized a makeup touch up-"
He kisses me. Stopping me from talking. He pulls away and I laugh "you could have just told me to shut up" "My way was way more fun"
