52~Trustworthy

I wake up. see the sunlight and immediately get annoyed. I move on my other side and jump as I see Alex in my doorway

"Jeez you scared me" "Sorry. Breakfast is ready"

I get up, stretch and head down stairs

I sit at the table that was cover with pancakes, waffles, bacon, eggs and fruit. It smelled amazing

I looked around and noticed there was only two place settings

"Is dad gonna be here?" "No. He left early I guess. He wasn't here when I woke up"

I shrug "hey can you hand me that bottle in the fridge?" He opens the fridge and hands me my bottle "how can you drink that stuff?" "How can you eat this stuff?"

"Food is the most amazing thing in the world, you just haven't been human and had it" "don't get me wrong it's good...but blood is superior"

We eat for what seemed like hours. It was so much food

As we eat I say "I wonder where dad could have gone. He didn't have work today" he shrugs "don't know"

We continue to eat "what's up with you guys?" "Just stuff of the past" "are you sure?" He puts down his fork and folds his hands "yeah. But I don't blame him really. He has the right to be angry" "What did you do?" I ask as I lean in

"Can I be honest with you?" I nod "when I was little, I wasn't the most happy and cheerful kid to be around. I was pretty sure I was a psychopath at atleast nine. We would always scream at each other and one thing lead to another and" he was interrupted by my coughing fit

I started out of fine but the cough started to hurt worse and worse

"You ok?" I shake my head rapidly still coughing

He gets a water bottle from the fridge

He hands it to me and I immediately drink, them I immediately spit it out

It burned

It was vervain

It made the coughing even worse

I started to feel myself losing air

I fall out of my seat out of suffocation

Narration

Isabella wakes up in a dark place she can't make out. She sees Alex crouching infront of her

She looks around "where are we?" She try's to move and arms "why am I tied up?"

"Questions later. I never got to finish my story"

"I don't want to hear it"

He pulled up a chair and sat I front of her. "So it started off when you were born. That's when everything really hit home. I hated you from the moment I saw you. I would have killed you with a pillow if I had the chance but I left. I met a man. I told him I lost my family and needed a place to stay, I used him for his home and killed him once I got the chance"

"What did you give me?" Isabella says ignoring his story. "Just some herbs" he gets close to her face

He smiles "you're afraid of me aren't you?"

He jumps and she flinches. The herbs made her weak and vulnerable "what happened to Isabella, the original vampire that was strong enough to survive this long"

"You're psycho" "so I've been told"

"So all of this was just an act?" "Don't act so disappointed, you only got the good parts" she frowns her eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

"I mean you got the main event but those twins really got a show"

She looks at him confused, him still with a smile on his face until she realizes what he did

"You didn't" she felt her voice crack

"Well not alone, I had some help"

She looked at him confused again "Melissa did a great job"

"Oh my god"

"They were pretty nice, inviting a stranger in to use the phone and then getting compelled by her. You should've seen it. I had Melissa go visit them yesterday. Ethan wasn't very nice"

"What did you do to them?" "Nothing. Yet"

She didn't talk

"Oh come on, I had to get those boys out of the picture some how. I couldn't have witnesses"

A tear falls from her face. He kneeled down to her level and wiped the tear away. "At least I brought you to their basement at you're last few minutes of life. I'm not monster"

His phone buzzed "oop daddies calling" he answers

"Where is she?"

"She's right here"

"Let me speck to her"

"Yeah I Uh can't do that"

Jason sighs "meet me in the woods right now"

Jason hangs up

Alex puts his phone in his pocket and rolls his eyes and drags Isabella to the woods with him

Once he sees Jason he throws her down

Jason saw Isabella in pain but kept a strong look on his face. "What do you want?" Alex asked

"I want to battle you"

"You couldn't take me a day in your life old man"

"Wanna bet?"

Jason starts a spell so hard it makes the wind blow

Alex comes at him with the same strength

They're neck and neck. Both saying powerful spells that would destroy the other

They both begin to bleed from their noses and eyes

Isabella begins to remove the rope that was around her wrist. She eventually gets them off buts too late

Jason and Alex had been pushed to different spots on the ground

She runs to Jason who is slouched against a tree

She grabs his face, he doesn't move "dad. Dad!" No answer

She panics and bites her arm

She puts the bleed to his mouth "come on" he doesn't drink

She sits hugging his body while crying

She thinks

This is all my fault
