11~Dinner

I walk to the door
Hopefully this goes well and no one dies but I have a feeling it won't

I knock on the door
No answer
I ring the doorbell
No answer

I jiggle the door handle and it opened

"Grayson?" I say loud enough for someone to hear me. Then I hear footsteps down the steps

"Hey" I say in a sigh of relief. It was Grayson. I was worried. "Hey sorry I was held up" he says we hug

"What are you doing here?" He asks me. "Ethan invited me" I say. He looks at me in confusion and then the doorbell rings

Grayson goes to open the door and it was Brie

"What are you doing here?" I ask her. "Ethan told you wanted me here" she says. "I never said-"

"So the gang is all here" Ethan says coming from upstairs

"Bro what's going on?" Grayson asks Ethan

"I wanted to have a dinner with all of you. I feel like we all need to catch up" he says with a smirk

We all look at him in confusion Grayson mainly. Brie and I in fear

We sit at the dining table. Quiet. All you could hear was the sound our forks hitting our plates

I was getting ready for anything Ethan might have up his sleeve

I decided to break the silence "so uh this food is really good. Grayson did you make it" I ask him

I lied the food was horrible to me

Not that Grayson might be a bad cook it's just that, you try living a life drinking animal blood. Human food doesn't taste...good. It might also be the fact the I've never tasted real food as a human

"Yeah well some of was leftovers from last night and from our date night a while ago" he says

"Speaking of which, Bella what is it with you and picking at your food?" Ethan questions m

"What do you mean?" "I mean you're doing right now. It's almost like you, don't ever eat" he says

"What about you Ethan? It does seem like you eat either" I say folding my arms on the table

"Oh I eat great"

Brie cuts in "you know what, how about we change the subject"

"Yeah" Grayson agrees

"Good idea let's talk about your nightmares instead" Ethan's says

"I- I don't think they wanna hear that" Grayson says

"Oh come on, the key to solving this problem is really getting to know it. And this kind of darkness maybe so dark that if you don't look into it now, it could swallow you whole"

"Now, we know vampires are one of the most deadly species know to man, but why?" He gets up and walks to the kitchen counter
