67~The Saved

We lay on the couch watching tv, my head on his shoulder and his head on mine

"Sorry we aren't doing anything fun right now. I couldn't think of a place to take you"

"This is perfect. I could lay here forever"

I look up at him. "How is everyone?" "The same as yesterday. Boring"

"Am I gonna see any of them? Are they gonna visit?"

He looks into my eyes "do they even know you're here?"

He sighs and shakes him head. "No. I want you all to myself and I don't care if that sounds selfish because I do". "As my boyfriend who loves me you should"

He smiles "Actually something did happen with Olivia this morning"

He got up and reached in this pocket. He handed me a piece of paper. "Olivia says it's the spell she used to try to save the twins but she can't translate it"

"It's Bulgarian"

"You can read it?" "Yeah. I'm pretty sure"

My dad taught me Bulgarian as we trained. He wanted me to remember where I came from

"The spell basically says it hides something in the nearest and safest place" I give him the paper

Brie's POV

Olivia, James and I all walk to the wedding hall where it all happened. She pulls out her map and pokes James palm with a knife

The blood drops on the page and she begins the spell

This place felt creepy enough as is it, being as no one still had come to clean up. But now that there's candles, blood and a witch saying really creepy things, making it worse by 100

I only came because they said we would get food after

As she repeated the spell, James blood got closer to me. Closer. Closer. Closer until the map set on fire

"What the hell was that?" I say. "Are you sure you did it right?" James asked "because if it didn't work you can tell me"

"Yeah I did it right" Olivia stares at me "why are you staring at me?"

"Because the spell said the babies would go somewhere safe nearby. Somewhere that can't be destroyed"

I look at her still confused

"Brie, I think I put the babies inside of you"

I start to frantically paced around in a circle with my hands on my head

"Oh my god. Oh my god" "Brie it's fine just calm down"

"Calm down? You basically Jane The Virgined me! Now I'm gonna be pregnant with weird little wolf twins"

"Technically, you're already pregnant"

"Agh. Do you know how much planning I put into having kids. When I'm married and when I'm ready. Now I have to rethink everything. How is this possible anyways? I thought vampires can't procreate"

She crossed her arms "just because you're a vampire doesn't mean you don't have a uterus"

"I can't do this" James stands in front of me "Brie listen. I know this is nothing what you were expecting to happen. Nothing I was expecting. But please. You're strong. Independent. I know you can do this. Please do it for me"
