"Finally it's over" he grabs my face and kisses me

"Not quite" I say and he frowns his eyebrows "there's still been 10 mysterious deaths. Which everyone thinks you've started"

"Do you think that?" "No of course not. I believe you. If you say it wasn't you then it wasn't you"

"Could you tell Grayson that?" "Well you were vanishing every night. And the bodies were found in the morning" he shrugs

I fold my arms "What were you doing at night? All alone" he looks around the room. "Watching you"

I take a step back "sounds a bit creepy but" he smiled "I would sneak out and check on you at night" I smiled knowing that he cared so much

"Well I gotta run. Grayson's going to the police department to look at the animal attack files and I'm going to be there to prove him wrong"

I open the door and he jumps

"Hey jumpy"

"What are you doing here?" "I'm here to prove you wrong. I didn't kill those people. And I find it insulting that you would think I would do such a thing"

"You literally killed that hopeless woman at that house"

"She was a dead end Grayson. Plus that was like a thousand years ago"

"It was two days ago!"

"Fine hand me those files. I'll tell you which ones I did"

He tosses the files in front of me

I look at the next one for awhile "hm. I don't remember this one. Oh no wait. That was me"

"Ok I get it you take pride in your killings. How many people have you killed anyway?"

"Well I've been a hybrid for about five years now so.....about 3 old timy villages"

He laughs and looks down for awhile "has it really been that long? Five years?"

"Time flys when you don't age"

"Woah. You ever wonder what would happen if this didn't happen?"

"Not really. You?"

"I don't know. There's the occasional, I wonder what the rest of my life could have been like thoughts. She changed everything"

"Not everything. You're still going to be a doctor, Brie's still going to do whatever she wants and I'm still going to be free traveling the world"

"Speaking of" I start "when exactly are you gonna make your move?"

"What?" "Don't play dumb I overheard you and Brie talking. If you want to kiss her. Just do it"

He laughs "when did we start dating each other's ex's?"

I laugh "I guess we have good taste"

I read the letter again

To Isabella. From Bulgaria

I open the envelope and see two plane tickets

Both leaving tomorrow for Bulgaria

There's also a note. I open it and it says "your family needs you"

"Any luck?" I say as he walked in the door

He snakes his head

"Oh" "if its not one thing it's another"

"Yeah. And I've got another" he comes closer

I hand his the envelope

He takes the letter out and reads it quickly

"You're leaving?"

"No. Didn't you look? There's two tickets. Please E come with me. If this is true then I have family in Bulgaria who need help. I don't have much of that here"

He smiled

"You had me at two tickets"
