33~The Dead

Isabella's POV

I'm brought to a dark, cold, huge, circle shaped dungeon

She throws me on the ground and drags Grayson body to the other side

I see him start to wake up and I try to run to him but again, I was too weak

The vervain was getting to me

I was slowly staring to heal but still I couldn't run very fast

"Oh give it a rest" Kate said

Grayson wakes up fully holding his head in pain

"Finally"

"Let her go" he says standing tall

She walks closer to him "I don't think so" she pushes him across the room and he fell to the ground letting out a grown

"Would you look at this? Two love birds on either side of me. Who will I choose?" She smiles

"What do you want from us?" He says. "What we all want. Revenge"

"Ugh it was like a thousand years ago get over it" I say and she didn't like that

She flings my back to a wall and reaches in her pocket to pull out a small steak of wood

I see it in her hands and immediately recognized it

Before all of this, when I was training with my dad, he trained me to know what white oak looked like so I wasn't fooled by a regular piece of wood

"Is that-" Grayson says

"White oak? Yes" Kate finishes his sentence

She chucks the steak at me using her hand to drive it into my skin

"NO" Grayson yells

I feel it directly in front of my heart

I gasp trying to breath but it becomes difficult

"Oh relax. I didn't get her heart. But it is right in front of it" she twist her hand making the steak move around

I scream in pain "you feel that? That's the sound of the oak rubbing against your heart"

I see Grayson try to run into her to stop her but she was already ahead of him

She takes her other hand and pushes him against the wall also

"Better be careful. If I put the slightest pressure on that steak it will pierce her heart and she will die"

I continue struggling to breathe, afraid that each breath might be my last

"Now let's see, which one of you will I kill first?" She looked at both of us for what seemed like forever

"Oh I know. I'll just kill one of you then the other will be left heart broken and alone forever"

"Please, kill me" Grayson said to her

"No" I force myself to say still inhaling "me"

"Ok ok. Eeny meeny miny you"

She looked at Grayson

"No!" I try to yell but she bangs the back of his head of the wall. A large crack noise was ringing in my ears as she released both of us
