He raises his hands on my back pulling me in deeper. I bring my hands to the bottom of his shirt when I hear the door open

She walks in, sees us and freezes

"Brie" I quickly jump off of him "hey"

"Ok. While I remove that image from my head, Isabella I need to ask you"

She grabs a binder from he bag and opens it to paint swatches. "Which one light purple or pink?"

"Light purple"

"Now you Ethan black or navy blue?" "Black"

She nods "redoing your room?" I ask "Something like that"

She puts the binder back in her bag "so are you coming?" "Yeah. I'll be back tonight" I kiss Ethan goodbye and leave with Brie

We arrive at the grill to get lunch with Jenny and Olivia

"Have you guys found a place yet?" I ask Jenny. "No but believe me, we're trying. It sucks living there" "it can't be so bad" "it can if a certain someone hates your guts"

"Ethan is just Ethan. He's nothing to worry about"

"Speaking of men...how are you and Michael?" Olivia asked Brie. "There is no me and Michael"

We all give her a look "seriously. Let's just change the subject. Olivia how's your grandmother?" "She's fine but she's not her full self. She wants me to visit her in Brooklyn and I would really appreciate it if one of you guys joined me. I have 9 cousins there and I would really like to avoid them"

"Why don't you ask Devion?" "I would but he's team is flying to California for their game and he won't be here sooo"

She looked at Brie. Brie frowns her eyebrows and says "don't look at me. Who else is gonna plan the wedding?" She covers her mouth immediately

"What? What wedding?" I ask. She looks a Jenny "sorry"

Jenny sighs "it's ok. I might as well tell since you'll know soon enough. James asked me to marry him. We're having it in a couple days. A small one. Just friends and family"

"I'm so happy for you" she smiles "thanks" "Brie you sure you can handle this? A wedding is a big deal" "I planned three dances, annual blood drives, fairs and not to mention organized a cleaning committee in two days. This wedding is gonna be a pieced cake"

I head back to Ethan's house aka my second home. We both sit on the couch and watch tv when there's a knock on the door

He answers and backs away a little "What do you want?"

I look in the door way to see who it was and I see Brooke

"I'm not here to hurt you" "Well thank you now please leave" he starts to close the door but I stop him

"What is it?" I ask. "I'm here to warn you. Melissa took the cure. And when she realized it wasn't the real one she wasn't the happiest. She's coming for you"

"And why are you telling us this?" Ethan folds his arms "Because she promised me that she would take me to see my family. Only thing is my family is dead. And she knew that. I wanna help you"

Ethan rolls his eyes and lets her in

"What is she planning?" "Something big"

I start to panic. Ethan notices and puts his hand on my shoulder "it's ok. I won't let her hurt you"

"Oh she's not coming for her" Brooke said "she's coming for all of you"

"Why does she care so much? It's just a silly little cure" Ethan said. "Same reason any vampire wants it. To get rid of the burden"
