It was the second afternoon of new Hogwarts school year. It happened to be a beautiful afternoon with the sun shining in clear skies. Most of the students were relaxing outside, soaking up the last of summer's warm rays which would soon be replaced by overcast skies and stormy clouds. Some of them were running around the grassy hills, others swimming in the Black Lake, but most of students were talking in small groups. Four boys were calmly discussing the first prank they would accomplish that year beside the Black Lake. The prank needed to be majestic and unforgettable. It was their last year at Hogwarts, and they had to show everybody it was going to be a good year for the boys called The Marauders.

"What could we do that we've never done before?" the boy with jet, black hair asked, pughing his round glasses up his nose.

"Something smart," the boy beside him grinned. He had long, curly brown hair and was certainly the most attractive in their group.

The small boy with a mushed up nose began to giggle, but he soon stopped when he realised he was the only one to do so.

"Funny, Padfoot," James Potter announced sarcastically, rolling his eyes at Sirius Black. "But what could we do? I really want to put effort into our pranks this year. It's our last year, and we have to show to everyone the Marauders are going to cause some chaos."

"Well, we could put some Dungbombs in one of theqa teacher's office," the tall boy, Remus Lupin, suggested.

"No, the Amazons would be beyond happy to outshine that... It's quite miserable for a beginning of the year prank."

"The Amazons always outshine our prank anyways," Sirius Black sighed, rejected.

"That's why our prank needs to be so good, so majestic, that the Amazons could never outshine it. And we have to keep it an absolute secret, not even the Prewett twins can know. We need to be sure that the Amazons won't know about it, so we can pull the prank without risking the Amazons to know the date we pull it," James Potter added.

"Even if we're careful, they always seem to know when we do it," Remus shrugged. "I don't see why this time would be any different."

The Amazons was a group of students. A pranking group. They started to prank when the Marauders were in their fifth year. The Amazons seemed to hate the Marauders, because they only pulled a prank when the Marauders did, and there was only one, obvious goal to that: they wanted to outshine them. The four boys all had massive egos, and always insisted they were the best pranksters in the Wizarding World, but when the Amazons appeared, they showed to everyone that statement wasn't even close to true. The Marauders were putting dungbombs in the Slytherin Common Room? Well, the Amazons were sneaking a Niffler into the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher's office. The Marauders made their Potions teacher sing opera all day? The Amazons gave a Veritaserum Potions to one of the most disliked boys in the school, Lucius Malfoy, making him reveal all his past crushes, which angered his girlfriend, Narcissa Black. Whenever the Marauders were pulling a prank, so were the Amazons, and it was always better.

Everyone knew who the Marauders were. It was a small group of four boys. There was Remus Lupin, a quiet, tall boy, with scars all over his face and light brown hair. Then there was Peter Pettigrew, a small, chubby boy, who looked a bit like a rat. There was Sirius Black, the school heartthrob. With his seductive smile, brown curly hair, and athletic build, he was certainly a ladykiller, In fact, nearly every girl of Hogwarts wanted to become his girlfriend. And last, but certainly not least, there was James Potter, Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. He was tall and thin with messy black hair and round glasses. He was almost never seen without a cocky smirk on his face, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Together, they were the Marauders.
