January flew by quickly; especially for the fifth and the seventh years. The teachers seemed to believe that since Christmas break was over, the students were completely apt to work harder. Of course, that wasn't the case, and the students were overwhelmed.
The Amazons thought it would be great to change that.
They didn't have a special occasion to prank someone. The Marauders had indeed caused a little bit of mischief here and there, but it wasn't that important, the girls didn't feel the need to interfere. They could have some victories; well, when they played alone. They wouldn't win against The Amazons, that was a certitude.
But when Holland would see the tired faces of her fellow Slytherins, or when a student in Potion would have a panick attack, and even when she'd see all the seventh years students, their faces dug in a boring Herbology book, not enjoying one single bit of their last year, she felt sad. Hogwarts was the best place of the world, yet most people would realise it only after they left the castle, and then they would regret they didn't have more fun in their last year.
That they didn't live in the moment, enjoying little things.
It was in that state of mind that Holland called the other Amazons. They had to remind the stressed out students how to have fun.
The young Slytherin was alone in the Room of Requirements for about half an hour now. She was there first, trying to relax a little bit, and that's when she had her idea. A crazy idea, a complicated idea. But The Amazons never did something that wasn't crazy nor complicated. It would ruin all the fun.
The door opened slowly, and she turned around, meeting Sofia's eyes. They greeted each other, talking about their lives, waiting for the two others. Elizabeth was the next one to show up, and then, unsurprisingly, it was Theresa last, who was always late.
"You finally decided to join us?" Holland joked.
"Sorry, Jane wouldn't want to let me go without knowing where I was leaving", Theresa rolled her eyes. "I told her I was meeting Gideon Prewett for homeworks. She knows I'm helping him with Transfiguration, so she didn't bother me."
"Sometimes, I almost wished people knew we're The Amazons", Elizabeth sighed. "I know it's not an option, but it'd be so less complicated. We could be together all the time, without caring about people judging us."
"It doesn't work that way, Lizzy", Sofia said. "If people knew it was us, they'd find a way to tear us appart. They wouldn't like friendships between the four different Houses, with all the competition there is. Also, the teachers would be way to happy to give us detentions, if we're not expelled."
"Yeah, you're right", the Hufflepuff breathed, without turning around to face the Slytherin. "So, dear Hippogriff, what is the marvellous idea you had?"
Holland grinned mischeviously at the four girls, pushing a strand of pink hair behind her ear. She knew the four girls would enjoy the idea. The Slytherin was ready to prepare this day and night. The only sure thing was that it would be surprising for most students.
"I think everyone's curiousity about our identities is increasing. Maybe we should do something that makes it stay that way."
The three other girls nodded, a grin etched on their features.
"I think The Amazons should invite them to figure out who they are. Don't you think?"
"What do you mean?" Theresa asked, frowning. "You want to give them clues?"
"Yes and no", Holand smirked, her green eyes buzzing with excitement. "I think that we should host a party. Invite everyone from fifth to seventh year. Tell them that if they find out who we are before midnight with the clues we gave them, they win, and we'd never prank someone again. Don't figure out who we are before midnight, they'll all be the victim of a prank."
