Elizabeth Drake needed to see her friend.

It wasn't complicated; she just missed him. Yet, whenever she tried to see him or to talk to him, he had a vague excuse, and just left the young girl there, alone. Something was going on. Lizzy knew it. She only wished she figured out what it was. Luckily for her, they had a class together in the afternoon, and she wouldn't let him go away from her.

It had been a few days since they were all back in Hogwarts, the month of January slowly drifting away. To Elizabeth's dismay, the winter wasn't soft like she loved; no, on the contrary, the sky was always grey, the cold so intense it pierced throught all the coats, causing most of students to catch a bad cold. Madam Pomfrey was overwhelmed by the number of students going at the infirmary, who all needed a great quantity of Pepperup Potion. But what was the worst part about winter, was that they still had to go outside for classes, and for Quidditch.

Elizabeth was a great Quidditch player. She was a Chaser since her fifth year. Her swiftness on a broom was impressive, and she always caught the Quaffle. However, she didn't have the force necessary to throw the ball far away. Overall, she was still a great player. But Elizabeth still regretted that she had to go outside in the cold season to practice.

The day before, the Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain forced them to stay outside for two hours. It doesn't seem that long, but when the sky is dark, the weather is under 0 and the snow falls so quickly none of the players could see a thing, well, yes, two hours is long.

And Elizabeth was sick.

The worst part was that she had to go outside once again, for her Herbology class.

Her red hair flying around her face because of the wind, her green eyes almost closed, her cheeks and her nose bright red, Elizabeth was walking towards the greenhouses when she saw the boy she was looking for. Indeed, Remus Lupin was walking in a quick pace, right in front of her, along with the other Marauders.

Elizabeth ran to join the four boys.

"Hey", Lizzy said, her voice hoarse. "I'm glad to see you all deflated correctly."

"Thanks, Drake, I appreciate", Sirius said.

He seemed quite annoyed, but not as much as James Potter did.

"You guys okay?" Elizabeth asked. "I mean, you all look disturbed by something. Is there a part of your body that's still not a normal size?"

Remus snickered, but James and Sirius only stared at her, though Elizabeth could see they weren't angry.

"The Amazons didn't do a thing for months", James said, glancing at Elizabeth. "And when they finally do something, it's even more impressive than everything they have ever done. I mean, they made us float in the air! Who does that?"

"The Amazons", Elizabeth said.

"Yeah, thanks, we figured", Sirius replied. "I'm not that bothered by their prank. It was genius, I admit it. What I like less is the other students who keeps reminding us we floated like balloons, or that we were covered in glitters. It's embarassing, you know."

"Well, now you know how your victims feel", the young girl said. "I don't support the Amazons, but I never supported what you did either. It's wrong, it's mean. I don't understand why you like to prank people. It's complicated for nothing, right?"

James and Sirius exchanged glances, and smirks appeared on their mischievous faces.

"Pranking may be wrong, but what's life without a risk? What would life be, if everyone just bent to the rules? It would be boring. And we need fun in life, don't you think?" Sirius said.
