A party at Hogwarts is something unique. It isn't your normal party with drunk teenagers everywhere. Yes, there is always some people throwing up, and people making out with other people they would have never talked about usually. There is also a group of stoners, wandering around the party, dancing like it was the last time they ever could. There is also the group of drunk girls who are crying, in the corner, because someone stole their shoes.

That part is everywhere, and it doesn't change at Hogwarts. Something unique in Hogwarts is the presence of magic. That isn't surprising. The surprising part is everything you can do with a simple piece of wood.

The Amazons certainly knew what they could do with it.

It doesn't seem like it. They look like a bunch of girls who just want to cause mischief here and there, for pleasure. Well, it is kind off what they are. But the four girls have to do a lot of research, and they have to put a lot of efforts in the planning of their pranks. They have to search for spells in books, look at the risks, decide the victims, make sure no one notices anything, find everything they need, whether it's a fantastic beast or a weird exotic plant, etc. It is a lot of jobs.

And that prank was a lot of planning.

The girls had never pulled something that big before. The Marauders hadn't either. Actually, it was probably the most majestic prank ever made in the History of Hogwarts. But the risks were huge. It had plenty of chances it wouldn't work, if it didn't, they'd lose all their honor and the respect they earned over the years. It couldn't happen. The Amazons could never become a joke.

Two weeks after the announcement, The Amazons were still dug into all those preparations. Holland was reading with Sofia about the subject of the prank, Theresa was doing the four girls' homework to make sure none of them was late in their work, which would make suspicions raise, and Elizabeth was planning the party in general. The alcohol, the decoration, the clues they'd give that night, the costumes.

They spent nights and nights awoken, planning every single detail, whether it was in a group or alone. They snuck out to Hogsmeade more than once to get all the furniture necessary. It was expensive, all this stuff, but Holland was way too happy to use her parents' money without them knowing.

The Marauders were also on the edge, glancing at the letter every minute, hoping a date and an hour had appeared on the invitation. James wanted to prepare himself for the party, but he had no clue how. The only thing he and the other guests could do was waiting.

That was until March 3, when the details finally appeared on the small card. It was simple.

Room Of Requirements

Formal outfits

Nothing else. No details about the night, or what they should expect. Mysterious, just like the people who sent those invitations.

Just like asked, everyone, on the March 5th, was standing in front of the Room of the Requirement, ten minutes before nine o'clock. They all had their best outfits on; boys in tuxedos and chic white shirts, girls with their most beautiful dress, long or short, their hair twisted in a complicated braid or carefully curled. They were all chic and gorgeous in their own ways.

"Look at the crowd", James said to his best friend, Sirius. "The Amazons can't be outside, they have to be inside to open the doors."

Sirius ran a hand through his long, dark hair, and dug a hand in his pocket. He took a cigarette pack out of it, took one with his slender fingers and plucked it in his mouth. He approached his wand to the tip, and a small flame began to eat the cigarette.
