***THE MARAUDERS***
James Potter knew how hard his quest was. He knew he would need to put a lot of work in what he was doing. But that wasn't going to stop him. He was certain about that.
Every night, when the four Marauders would be in their dormitory, they would talk about their plan. It was risky, and not really smart, like Remus Lupin kept saying, but it wasn't going to make James change his idea. James was going to catch the Amazons, and they would never make him look like a fool again.
Sirius Black didn't have the same obsession at the beginning of the year. That was until they made him confess his deep love for Severus Snape. So much jokes and insults were the result of this prank, and Sirius had enough. It wasn't the first time he was pranked by the Amazons, but that time was too much. It wasn't because they made everyone believe he was gay, but because they made everyone believe he was in love with the Snake himself.
Remus Lupin didn't really care about who the Amazons were, since he was the less pranked of the Marauders. Of course, he was curious. After all those years, everyone would be. And he was quite impressed with their magic abilities. They never made a bad prank, it was always majestic. The Amazons were making an usual day a showtime.
Peter Pettigrew was scared of the Amazons. The time they put a baby Acromentula in their dormitory was still fresh in his head, even if it was a year ago. He didn't want to anger them, but he would always follow what James and Sirius were saying, like a puppet. Even if that meant to set a trap for The Amazons.
That was what the Marauders were talking about, in that cold night of october. It was past midnight, but none of them were tired. They were too excited by their idea, and they kept reviewing every single detail. Jame was finally positive that he would soon know who were the Amazons.
***THE VEELA***
2 days. That was the amount of time Theresa had to find the money. And she was freaking out. Theresa had to take two long baths a day, to keep the pressure away, and there was a small part of her head where she had no hair left. Luckily, it was easily hidden with the rest of her blonde hair, but still. Theresa even had pimples all over her face because of the stress. She had to use a potion against those.
And the worst part was that Theresa had to keep smiling. Like life was as beautiful as before, without any problems. No one guessed what she was living through, just like she intended it to be.
The Veela didn't speak with the other Amazons since they put that little prank on Malcolm Pucey. They had to focus a little bit more on their studies, since it was the year of their N.E.W.T.s, and they were pranking too much these days. Usually, it was only when the Marauders were. But now, as soon as something was upsetting them, they were getting revenge, and it wasn't a safe way to act.
So they didn't speak for almost two weeks, and even though Theresa missed them, she had more to worry about. 1. Jordan 2. Elizabeth's birthday party. It was that night, on October 12, in the Room of Requirements. Since everyone liked Lizzy, everyone would be there. And even if there's a few people that didn't like her, they would still come. Everyone in their sixth and seventh year were going at a party with alcohol. Not everyone was drinking, but most people did.
Theresa learned that Malcolm was expelled for the rest of the year the day after Holland went to see Professor Dumbledore. He made an announcement to the whole school, without specifying the reasons. He'll have to come back to Hogwarts next year if he wants his diploma.
"Which ones should I wear?", Jane asked, showing two pairs of shoes.
She showed the first one to Theresa, which was pink high heels.
"Sexy," Theresa whistled, chuckling.
"Or,", Jane showed of golden shoes.
"Elegant," Theresa answered.
Jane furrowed her eyebrows and finally chose the pink ones.
"Sexy is always better," Jane decided.
Theresa shook her head, smiling, and put on her high waisted leather shorts, even though it was October. With everyone in the room, it would be hot anyway. It was hard to put on as hell, but the result was worthing it. Then she put on a white shirt, put the bottom in her short, with a leather jacket on top of it. After she analyzed the way she looked in the glasses, she put on red high heels, red lipstick and she curled her hair.
"Wow, someone is going to disappoint some males tonight!", Jane smirked when she saw .
She was wearing a way too short grey skirt with a pink top, to go with her high heels. Theresa smiled, and picked her red purse, matching her lipstick and her shoes.
"Shall we go now?", she smiled, her curly blonde hair flying around her face.
They were the last one in the Ravenclaw dormitory, all the other girls already there. But Theresa and Jane knew the real party was beginning at ten o'clock.
When the two girls entered the room, the music envelopped them, and they were being pulled inside by the students. The room was lit by a dark blue light, so we couldn't see much, and everybody was on the dance floor, Elizabeth in the middle. Theresa, immediately picked a bottle of Firewhiskey, and began to drink it. She wasn't planning on getting wasted, but drunk enough to make problem would go away. For a small while.
Theresa scanned the room, looking for familiar faces, since Jane disappeared at the second they entered. Her piercing grey eyes, looking blue that night, fell on Sofia, having fun with her Gryffindor friends, clearly sober.
The Veela turned around, and she soon saw Holland with her two good friends, Courtney and Blair. Holland had already drank a couple of bottles, supposed Theresa, since she kept cheering for... Apparently nothing.
James and Sirius were a few feet beside her, both as wasted as usual. Theresa didn't miss the long gaze James was sending to Holland, beginning by her legs and finishing on her friend's head, and the young Ravenclaw mentally smirked.
Lizzy was dancing in the middle of the room, smiling, her eyes closed. Theresa never saw her friend that wasted in the past, but at least Lizzy looked quite happy. She was dancing with Fabian Prewett. If dancing was standing a inch appart and move in synch. Elizabeth was sexy that night, and the Prewett boy had eyes only for her.
Making her way on the dance floor, the bottle in her hand, Theresa didn't react to the boys' stares or whistles. People were going aside to let her pass in front of them. Theresa was like a queen, and she liked it. She finally arrived in front of Elizabeth, who was wearing a black , with a low V-neck. It was a unique piece, just like her, Theresa thought.
"Elizabeth!", Theresa yelled, so her friend could hear her with the music roaring in their ears.
Elizabeth opened her eyes and smiled drunkily, giggling.
"Theresa!," she exclaimed, way too happy. "It's my birthday!"
"I know, that's why I came. Happy Birthday Ellie!"
Ellie chuckled a thanks, and Theresa hugged her.
"I'll give you your gift the next time we meet," she said in Elizabeth's red hair, so no one knew she was talking.
Elizabeth nodded and pulled away, her green eyes shining with a small twinkle in them. Without an other word, she got back to her dance with Fabian. Elizabet was spending a lot of time with the Prewett brothers. Theresa will gossip with her about them an other time.
The young blonde-headed girl looked around for a dancing partner, and imediately began to dance with Gideon Prewett, who was way too happy to accept.
Theresa also danced with Amos Diggory. She spent some night with him in the past, so it wasn't like they were strangers. If Theresa wasn't this drunk, maybe she would have noticed the long looks of guilt, anger and envy he was sending to Lizzy.
The Veela didn't see the hours pass by. Dance after dance, bottle after bottle, song after song, the party was roaring, full of young people full of life. It's only early in the morning Theresa left with Sirius, towards his empty dormitory.
***
Theresa woke up in the Gryffindor dormitory alone. She winced at the second she opened her eyes. She should have stick with her old plan. Not getting wasted. Of course, it was too hard for a party girl like her.
Carefully opening her eyes once again, she examined the room. She was alone. Sirius was probably in the restroom, and the other boys probably asleep in the Common Room.
Her eyes scanned the room, covered in red and gold. The curtains, the blankets, almost everything. It wasn't the first time she was in the Gryffindor dormitory. The boys never liked to clean up, of course, so Theresa was seeing the same books or Quidditch material at places they shouldn't belong.
Well, Theresa couldn't judge, but she was pretty sure normal people didn't have books in their lamps.
She sighed, and put her bare feet on the cold floor. She put her clothes from the day before on, that she had to pick from all around the room. Her leather shorts under Sirius' bed, her bra beside the bed, her shirt tangled in the sheets. She even found one of her shoes in James's bed, without knowing why it went that far.
Instead of just leaving the room like she would usually do, Theresa began to clean their dormitory. She hated when things weren't at the right spot, so she was putting James' clothes in James' laundry basket, Remus' books in his shelf, etc.
Putting some of Sirius' shirts in his closet, Theresa noticed a huge bag in the back. Frowning and curious, she opened it. A flash of gold caught her glance, and she opened it wider. The bag was full of galleons. There was probably two hundreds of them in it.
Theresa stared at the money, having a debate in her head. She couldn't do this. She couldn't steal money. She never did something like this, never in her entire life.
The Veela closed the bag, shaking her head. She couldn't.
Picking her purse and ready to leave the room, Theresa looked back at Sirius' closet. It could save Jordan's life, if he's really in deep problems.
Theresa, stop it!, the angel in her head began. You're not going to steal. Never.
Black doesn't need that cash, not as much as you do, the devil in her head snapped back.
It's not right! It's not Theresa's job to make sure Jordan doesn't get hurt!
So what? Jordan wrote to HER, he trusts HER! He needs HER help, and do you want to risk his life? Sirius has enough money anyway to give every wizard in the world a manor!
That last sentence made Theresa change her idea. She quickly glanced at the door, and ran towards the closet. The young, afraid girl opened the bag, and picked a hanful of galleons, and put it in her red purse. Gazing at the restroom's door every seconds, she fulled her purse with the money, closed everything once again, and left the room.
Theresa knew it wasn't right. But she was so desesperate. She couldn't afford to loose Jordan.
So without a glance back, Theresa left the Gryffindor Tower, almost dying in guilt, her blonde, curly hair flying behind her back, her now heavy red purse bouncing against her hip, making a light sound of metal rattling together at every step.
