After a long, boring class with the monotonous Professor Binns, Elizabeth was ready. Ready for what? She didn't know it, yet. She was determined to go to the Charms lesson with the Marauders, so it would be even more funny to see their expression.
The Marauders prank was already done, on the morning. They actually found a way to go into the Slytherin Common Room, and to put Dr Filibuster's Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks, in it. The Slytherin House had quite a show when they woke up. The students were pretty mad; some of them had mild burning, or some of their hair were missing, so it was even more pleasant for the other Houses.
The Amazons were sure their prank would be better, so that's why Elizabeth was excited to see it. And she would be in the front row to assist to the prank.
Elizabeth was talking with a close friend of her, Amos Diggory. They were both in the same year and in the same house, and they had things in common. But something the young girl didn't like about the boy was that he acted really horribly with girls. He kept shagging everything that moved here and there, and then he was throwing them away. Amos Diggory was an attractive young man; he had brown hair, brown, mysterious eyes, a muscular figure and a square jawline. Lots of girl were interested in him, but it wasn't the case of Elizabeth Drake.
No, Elizabeth wanted a real man, not a top shagger. She wanted someone who would be loyal, kind, nice, all values she thought was important. But, the most important in her opinion, was the sense of humor. Elizabeth could never date someone who can't have a good laugh, or thinks that pranks are silly. It's an important part of her life.
"Amos, we're going in Charms?" Elizabeth asked, playing comedy. She knew for sure they were going in Charms.
"Yes. We should probably go", he said, picking his bag.
"Actually, I have to speak with Remus about the Transfiguration homework... You know how bad I am at it!", Elizabeth lied.
She wasn't the best liar in their little group, but she wasn't bad either. And it wasn't completely a lie: the young girl really sucked in Transfiguration.
"Oh, okay. I had to talk to Natalia, so it's better this way", Amos snapped rudely.
Without any other word, he vanished. Elizabeth was still confused about why he was mad, but she could still take care of it later. She had a prank to assist at the moment.
Elizabeth rushed to the stairs, when she saw the four Marauders climbing it.
"Remus!", she called. "Remus!!"
At the second call, the young brown-haired boy turned around, and the three other boys stopped.
"Hi Elizabeth," he smiled gently.
"Hi, Remus, James, Sirius and Peter", Elizabeth greeted, breathless. The three other boys mumbled a light 'Hi' before she continued. "It's an amazing day, right?"
"It's raining", James Potter announced, smirking.
"Oh, it is?", Elizabeth asked, surprised. "Oh, you're right," she agreed after a glance throught the window. "Okay, so I came here because I have a question with my Transfiguration homework..."
So, pretending to need help in Transfiguration, Elizabeth made her way to the Charms classroom. When they were finally in the hall, Elizabeth glanced around, looking for Sofia. She finally recognised her friend, with Lily Evans, Alice Fortescue and Marlene McKinnon. She was playing with her ring, and Elizabeth had the feeling she was telling to Theresa the Marauders just came in.
Elizabeth Drake was still talking to the four boys when a loud BANG! echoed in the hallway. Elizabeth now had to hide her smirk.
Every single student stopped to talk and to walk. They were all confused, and waiting for what was about to come next.
