Part 3
-Daniel-
It's the morning after the bar and I'm super pissed for two reasons. 1. Elizabeth was nearly raped and I wasn't there; that is unacceptable! 2. That fucking guy I had met yesterday.
He pissed me off to no end.
I stared angrily at my Lucky Charms that I had made myself since I was to lazy to cook, and Ally isn't awake to make me food. I stuffed the cereal into my mouth, and stared at nothing angrily.
"YO HO!" Ally screamed into my ear making me jump and let out a not-so-manly squeal.
"Jesus Christ's, baby! don't do that!" I clutched my bare chest.
"Why aren't you ready, we need to find you a job. I'm NOT going to be paying YOUR part of the rent," she scolded wagging her finger. "Go put clothes on... Or better yet, take a shower. You smell like sweat." she scrunched up her nose in distaste. I pouted and stuck out my tongue at her, before angrily shoving more food into my mouth. I put the finished bowl into the sink before running to the bathroom in case any of the other girls decided to wake up and get ready first. I striped out of my sweat pants I apparently changed into at some point of last night's drunken adventure.
When I got out, I wrapped a towel around my waist and looked in the mirror, frowning slightly. My roots needed to be touched up. The dye was fading. After I brushed my teeth, I turned to walk out the door and made my way into my room, pulling on a pair of briefs, followed by a red skin tight shirt. Courtesy of Ally, saying how "I should show off my body to get more guys" and some "YASSS WORK IT".
I chuckled at the memory as I took out a pair of black Toms and easily slipped them on before walking back to see everyone else already up.
We greeted each other with our "mornings" however they weren't the usually happy, and cheery ones. Everyone kept sending worried glances to Ell, even though we know she's alright and had told us multiple times it "Didn't matter".
"Ally lets go." I waited by the door as she yelled a "We'll be back!" to Liz and Brent and walked outside with me. We got into my car and took off towards a music store.
"So Daniel," she nudged my arm and winked, "saw you with a pretty hot guy last night. You have his number?"
I kept in an annoyed groan, and decided to scoff instead. "Don't even talk to me about that guy, he pissed me off immensly," She raised her brow at me, and waited for me to explain. "He literally, the WHOLE time we were dancing, was saying how hot others guys were in that stupid bar. How they looked in their stupid clothes, with their stupid smiling faces! Um no, excuse you fucktard my ass is right in front of you!"
I was breathing hard, and noticed we were outside the store. I probably looked like a maniac to people outside the store. And I bet people inside heard me. I looked over to Ally, to see her trying to keep a smile off her face.
"Sounds like you have fallen pretty hard," she smirked and got out the car quickly before walking inside the store. Leaving me staring angry and slightly confused at her statement.
I sighed and got out of the car, locked it, and followed Ally's steps into the store and looking for an application.
I walked up to a worker and asked for an application. He told me to just go into an office at the back of the store, and have a seat. And that the manager would be there shortly.
I looked at Ally confused but she just shrugged and motioned forward, as she sat in one of the chairs flipping through a magazine. So that's what I did. I reached the office and sat down in one of the seats... Well the only other seat in the room besides the spinning one behind the desk.
It looks so tempting... 'NO, Daniel, NO! You have to be professional! Have to be focused! Have to be ready for anything this manager has to offer you. You have to be cool... like batman. Yeah, batman.'
I was to busy smiling like an idiot and being distracted by my thoughts to realize that this man, whom I'm guessing was the manager, was talking to me. Or well... Looking at me confused. I blushed and stuck out my hand, "I... Uh, hi." my voice cracked, making me clear my throat. "Um, hi, I'm Daniel. Uh... I'm here for an avalible job..." Fuck, I'm stupid.
"Calm down son," he chuckled, "it's only an interview. My name is Mr. Boyd. I'm the manager here. So tell me, what makes you think you can work here." he raised a brow. I got a closer look at this "Mr. Boyd". He looked at least to be in his mid-30s. Maybe 40s. He had short brown hair and bright blue eyes. Well... Sort of bright. He was wearing a blue button-up shirt that matched his eyes, and some jeans. I also noticed he had a tattoo... Maybe of a snake, on his neck. And a name on his hand. "Kristina"
Talk you stupid fucker! "Oh, uh... Well you see ever since I was little I always had a passion for music. Instruments such as guitar, piano, bass, you name it. So I though 'hey why not get a job at a music store' and so here I am. Also not only that but I work hard, don't slack off when it comes to music, and I've been told I draw anyone that's everyone, in." I spoke, trying to hide my nervous stride.
He nodded and wrote a few things down. The interview, that I didn't realize he said it was till like the 3rd question, continued like that. Him asking me simple questions, and me answering with simple answers.
"Ok so I have one more question," he looked me straight in the eye. "Are you gay?"
I stared at him confused, before answering the question that doesn't, or shouldn't really be apart of the interview.
"Uh... Yes?" I raised my brow at him. His gaze lowered before he glared at me. "Well that just won't do, you can leave now." he began stacking the notes he had written about me.
My eyes widen, "W-what?"
He looked at me with a 'duh' expression. "I said you can leave. Get out, we can't have a gay," he spat the word out like poison, making me flinch slightly, "working in my store. It'll ruin business. So leave."
My anger spiked, and I clenched my fist. Shit I needed someone to get me out of here before I snap.
He pointed at me swiftly," I SAID LEAVE, GET OUT OF MY STORE YOU DISGUSTING EXCUSE OF A HUMAN!"
That did it.
