*Jake*

She has kept me waiting.

Normally, I slept with girls within a time range of an hour to a day. I haven't slept with Brent and I have known her for about two years now. It has been two weeks since the first time we kissed and kissing is as far as things have gotten. Like I said, she has kept me waiting. I really like her- like, REALLY like her. Emphasis on "really".

She was currently sitting on the barstool in the kitchen, not noticing that I was watching her. With a bottle of Jack Daniels at hand, she took a long, slow sip. I should say gulp, given how large that sip was. Brent was a serious drinker, but not to the point of having a problem. She could also really hold her liquor.

I heaved a sigh and tilted my head to the side, looking at her long, exposed, white legs. She was only wearing one of my shirts, which went down to her mid-thigh. Her hair hung in messy curls cascading down her back, stopping at the middle. It was a beautiful mix of blonde and brown, but turned chocolate when it was wet, as it is now. She didn't show any signs of hearing my sigh or feeling my pervert gaze, so she continued to stare straight, drinking her misery away.

She does this more frequently, now. Before Lilly was murdered, she would do the same thing, but for different reasons. Nobody would ever tell me why- Lilly and Elizabeth were the only ones that ever knew those problems she drank for.

For some reason, seeing her in my shirt- and only my shirt- made me extremely horny. But, I knew she wasn't going to sleep with me. At least, not in the way I (or any male for that matter) was thinking. And I wouldn't take advantage of her if she was drunk- I could never do something like that to her.

So, I made a choice I could possibly regret later.

I padded out from my watching place, making a point to slap my bare feet to the ground. Her head slowly turned to my noise and a smile immediately broke out on her face. I was dressed in a tight black shirt and jeans as usual. Her grin flickered as she saw my attire and I walked up to her, cupping her face in my hands and standing between her legs.

"I'm going to go to my house for the night. You know, see my friends. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" I kissed her slowly, loving the way her mouth fit to mine. She responded immediately. Her mouth taste of alcohol and, while on any other girl this would be revolting, it was actually kind of hot on her.

God, I'm dumb.

I really need to stop thinking about these things or I won't ever get laid.

"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow." She smiled into my mouth, breaking the kiss. She hopped off the stool and went to read on the couch. I slipped on my shoes and walked out the door, going to my notes.

My notes of my phone was my little black book. It was my roster, so to speak. If you're thinking of "That Awkward Moment" then yes, that is exactly what I mean. I scrolled through and found a name that I remembered to enjoy. I dialed her number while stepping in the closing elevator.

"Hello?" a sexy female voice asked from the other end.

"Hello, Nicole. I haven't seen you in a while." She sighed.

"Hello, Jake. I was just heading home, what's up?" I grinned, though she couldn't see me.

"Well, I just wanted to catch up. Come over to my house?" she giggled and I knew I had it in the bag. She knew what I meant by 'catch up'.

"Sure. See you in ten?"

"See you in ten." I said, then hung up. I walked to my car and reached in my pocket for my key. My apartment was only about four blocks away from Brent's and I was there in no time. I had just enough time to get in and pour two glasses of bullet-rye before a beautiful blonde with golden eyes knocked on my door.

I opened up and she walked towards me slowly, kissing my cheek. Her hips swished as she walked to the chairs and coffee table with our drinks and I shut the door. We were getting pretty heated in our kiss when I heard footsteps. I broke the kiss and looked to my roommate, Bradly. He looked shocked to say the least and I sighed, knowing he would want to talk. I turned to Nicole and smiled broadly.

"I'm sorry, I'll be right back, beautiful." I said, kissing her hand. She giggled and said it was okay, sitting back in the couch. I got up and walked to my room with Bradly in tow. When the door closed, Bradly allowed his anger to show.

"What the hell, man?! Why is one of your whores here?" he hissed and I rolled my eyes.

"She isn't a whore, Bradly. It's not cool to assume so." I retorted, feeling my temper bristle.

"If she is on your roster, she is a whore. And really? 'Not cool'? You know what's not cool? CHEATING ON YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" he was clearly pissed and I probably should have guessed why. Brent and Bradly were fairly good friends and I am pretty sure he used to- maybe still did- have a thing for her.

"Listen, I haven't gotten any in two weeks, maybe longer. I really like Brent, but it's not like we're serious or anything. I'm not breaking up with her or anything, just having some fun until she is ready. Bradly, it's a onetime thing." I said, soothing him down. He had a look in his eye that I couldn't identify, but it was gone in a flash.

"Okay. Fine, but this is a onetime thing." He said before walking out and slamming the door. He probably went to his room because he wasn't in the living room or the kitchen. I went back to the lovely blonde on my couch.

"Everything okay?" she said, pursing he blood red lips. I nodded and put on an easy smile.

"Yup, everything's fine." I easily lifted her to a straddle on my hips. Her red dress rode up so they just barely touched the bottom of her thighs. "Everything's great." I mumbled into her mouth.

We kissed for a long time before I took her to my bedroom. We were in an extremely compromising position when the door to my room flew open. Nicole squealed and tumbled away from me. I swore and covered myself with a blanket before looking to see who was in my doorway, but they were gone.

Odd?

I helped a very confused Nicole up, surprised that the person didn't ruin the moment, and continued as if nothing had happened. I totally let the person slip my mind as I drifted off to sleep afterwards, a familiar platinum blonde resting on my chest.
