-Lilly-
I walked back into my former room sighing, I had just gotten to my old house with my dad. And I'm pretty sure Brent still hated him... And vise versa. I laid down on my bed staring up at my not-so-interesting ceiling.
The others are staying at a hotel while I'm stuck here, with these... Big, creepy, annoying, pushy, rude security guards outside my door every second of the day! But I need to stay positive. They'll catch... Him... And I'll be set to go back to my apartment where all is well.
I smiled at the thought. Home. I mean, don't get my wrong, my dads house is lovely, but I think home is where the heart is. This house- Or mansion really- isn't much of a home for me. None of my friends are here.
I stood up from my bed and decided to talk to my dad about this little problem. I walked down the white hall, my room was located in, and went up some spiral stairs to his office.
I knocked on his door and waited for him to answer.
"Come in," his voice boomed from the other side of the door as I walked in. "Lilly, what do you want?"
I looked around his room nervously before looking him in the eyes. "I want to leave. I want to go to my friends. To Ell and Brent and the others. I don't want to be locked up in here for, who knows how long." I breathed.
He stared at me confused. "Why would you want to? They're no help to you, you'll get hurt with them. He could hurt you."
I shook my head,"Not with everyone there. They know how to protect each other. I'll be fine, you HAVE to let me. I'm not your little girl anymore. I can take care of myself." I looked at him intensely.
He stared straight at my eyes.
His eyes flashing with a emotion... Probably anger. But I didn't care.
"If that is what you think is best," he said and pointed to the door. "But I expect you back by 7 at least"
I tried not to roll my eyes at his overprotectiveness, and smiled.
"Thank you dad!" I yelled as I ran out, on my way to the hotel with everyone else.
