Part 7
*Ally*
It's the next morning after our little celebration for Daniels new job. Elli had at some point gotten happy again thanks to Lilly. And Brent... Something is up with her and Jake.
I had just finished getting dressed to go to work. I was wearing jeans that, according to Daniel, make my hips "pop" out. As well as a flannel with a white shirt under it. And my trademark blue Vans. I did my hair into a messy bun, and was almost out the door when I spotted Lilly.
"Good morning," she cheered, "on your way to work?"
I nodded. "Yup, opening up today. Why're you up so early... Better yet why're you here? Did you stay over?"
This time she nodded, "Yup. I had just found Daniel on the floor with a bowl on his head." she chuckled softly. "So, can I join you on your way to work?"
"Ya sure, if you wanna be stuck with a bunch of books all day."
I should explain something. I run a bookstore that belongs so my dad. So in a sense, I kinda own the place.
She smiled slightly, "I'm sure I can manage."
And with that we took off. We decided to walk seeing as the day was getting brighter than when I woke up. And Daniel likes to hide his keys. The little fucker.
"You know, I'm kinda glad you helped Elli get over what happened. It's nice to know she won't be worrying about it 24/7," I commented during our silent, but comfortable walk.
Lilly nodded. "It's nice to know she isn't gonna be alone to deal with this. Besides she's my best friend, I'll always be there to help her." she turned and looked at me smiling, tilting her head slightly as the sun made her hair look a lot brighter. Her blue eyes shining in the light.
She looked really pretty.
When we finally reached the shop, Lilly had went to go sit in one of the chairs, as I set up shop.
It was about 12 when someone had gone up to the counter I was currently sitting at, reading Vampire Academy.
"Hey," he breathed "I was wondering if you could tell me what time it is?"
I looked at him. Then at his arm, which clearly had a watch.
"Oh I don't know, smart guy. Why don't you ask the watch that's CLEARLY, on your arm," I smirked, looking up to meet his dark blue eyes. "Or... Are you not smart enough to realize that you have a watch on."
"Oh well would you look at that, I do have a watch. Ha, must've slipped my mind," he put his hand on his forehead animatedly before smiling sheepishly. "Haha wow that was lame, sorry I just wanted to find a way to talk to you."
I laughed a bit, "Yes, sir that was lame indeed."
"So... Ms... Ally Fallens? Interesting. So how would you like to go out sometime?" he asked, swallowing nervously.
"Hmm... I don't know," I trailed off staring behind him at Lilly who's jumping up and down, silently screaming at me to say yes. I shook my head slightly and looked back at the guy. "I mean it depends, when."
"How about tomorrow?" he pleaded.
"Nope, sorry I've got classes." I shrugged, looking at my nails with a bored expression.
He pouted, "Aww can't you skip?"
I looked at him amused, "Ha, you're lost. Look why not just give me your number, and maybe I'll text you. Maybe."
He smiled a huge smile, "Deal!" He gave me his number and began to walk away happily after I saved it into my contacts.
"Hey! You never told me your name!" I shouted.
He looked over his shoulder giving me a killer smile, as the sun beamed over his brown hair, making it glow a bit. "Alexander, Alex for short." He stated before walking out.
Alex. That's cute. I looked back down to my book smiling slightly.

Lilly and I are walking back home. It's currently 6:00 pm. The sun is just now setting, as our footsteps are barely heard through out all of the chatter and cars honking.
"You know, that guy was tooootally into you." She smiled brightly. Her arms held behind her back as her footsteps swayed back and forth.
I looked away blushing slightly at her comment. "Oh shut it."
Today... Was actually a really great day.
A/N: Oi y'all finally got some insight on Ally and how her mind works and shit. So do you like Alex or nah- Rubennnn
