After my heart-to-heart with Daniel, I motioned for the guards to follow me out the vacant lobby. An eerie breeze brushed over my skin and I got a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach as I made my way to the limo parked out for me. It was angled an odd way, as if it had started to pull out, but stopped to send a text or something.
The feeling in my stomach grew and I turned back to the guards to tell them that I felt like something was off, when one of them fell to the ground abruptly. A pool of blood ringed around the guards head and the rest of the guards threw themselves around me in an attempt to protect me, leaving their friend on the floor.
The rest of the guards were dead before they even had the chance to call for help. My heart caught in my throat and I couldn't move or scream. Ahead of me, the man I hated most stood with a gun at hand with a silencer on it. It was the last thing I saw before the gun went off.
