"Where have you been?" Ned questions as I stand in my bathroom. His voice blaring from my cellphone that sits by the sink. "we haven't seen you in a week"

"My broken ribs were acting up" I lie.

I took the week off school to have time to process everything. My friends have been lying to me since I have arrived at Riverside high. How do I look so much like her?

"Well, are you going to the dance tonight?" Ned asks.

I bite down on my lower lip. Oh I'll be there.

"Yeah" I nod.

"What's your costume?" He questions.

A secret buddy.

"You'll see" I tease.

"How am I gonna know which ones you?"

I pause before smiling mischievously.

"Look for the girl from your past" I end the call.

"Don't you think that this is a little mean?" Aunt Laura questions with Jason beside her.

"Not at all," I say as looking at my reflection in the mirror.

I wore a long blond wig that had bangs and a guns and roses T-shirt, black denim jeans, black boots, and a leather jacket. I was a rocker chick, possibly Stevie Nick's. If I'm right then wearing this has wig is going to be enough to look like the girl in the photo.

"In what reality is this a good idea?" Jason questions.

"These are your friend's kiddo," aunt Laura says.

"And your boyfriend" Jason adds.

Chris is not my boyfriend. He's some guy that has been using me because I look like his ex.

"I'm a replacement," I tell them "they're not my friends....they've been using me"

"Maybe so" she sighs "but nobody deserves a blast from their messed up past"

Ugh, he's not comprehending this. Neither of them are. How are they not understanding why I'm so livid?

"I'm her doppelganger! I'm the spitting image of Chris's ex-girlfriend, his daughter's mother, Blake's crush, Ned's sister, and Jenny's best friend...they all had something to gain from having me in their life" I scream.

"Nobody deserves this" Jason says. "This destructive behaviour isn't you...you're turning into Trisha"

I whip my palm against my brother's cheek, before exiting the bathroom.

I stood at the gym doors, searching the crowd with my eyes. Everyone was dressed up. I could barely recognize anybody.

I immediately locate my friends who stood together near the punch table. Jenny was dressed as Daphne, Ned was Fred, Blake was Scooby. Sam was Shaggy and his date Wilma, who was dressed as Velma, however they're no where in sight. Chris was dressed as Axl Rose from Guns and Roses, whilst I was a rocker chick/Elise.

Suddenly I feel someone grab my wrist and drag me outside. I turn my head to find Sam with wide eyes.

"What the fuck are you doing?" He snaps.

"What do you mean?" I say in a dumb voice before looking down at my body "oh you mean this?" I smile at him.

"You're a real bitch" he exclaims with furrowed brows. "You knew exactly what you're doing when you walked through those doors, you're trying to hurt them! Don't you understand that these people are in pain!"
