Three months later...
"Wake up!" She cries as clapping her hands together violently "come on Evangeline!"
"What?" I yawn as opening my heavy eyes.
My vision is a complete blur as my muscles seem to be too relaxed.
"You're going to be late" aunt Laura informs.
"For what?" I dig my head under my pillow.
"Your first day of College!"
"Is that today?" I open one eye.
"Yes! See I told you that you should have stayed at the dorms" she places her hands on her hips.
"Dorms?"
"With Jenny" she rolls her eyes.
"Jenny who?" I furrow my brows.
"That's it" Aunt Laura cries as ripping the blankets off my bed.
"I'm up, I'm up" I yawn as sitting up and rubbing my eyes.
"I thought you told me that they couldn't pay you to go to college" Jason points out as walking past my room.
"Shut up Jas" I roll my eyes.
"What's your major?" He asks.
"Art" I roll my eyes "you know that, but they're making me do broad subjects"
"That sucks" he comments.
"Tell me about it" I yawn.
"Are all your friends attending Berkeley?" Aunt Laura questions as I slowly walk across the house.
"How many times do I have to tell you? Chris needs to stay close to his daughter so he is, Jenny's my roommate, Ned and Blake wanted to get as far away from this place as possible so they both got into Georgetown University" I explain for the one-hundredth time.
".....And Sam?" Jason questions as eating his bowl of fruit loops.
"I'm happy for you two"
"Than act like it"
"Where are you going? Do not walk away from me!"
"I'm walking"
"Sam!"
I shake off the memory.
"He went back to New York" I inform "Bronx Community College"
"So you're all split up then huh?" Aunt Laura says.
Beep Beep
"Chris is here" Jason informs.
"I do have ears" I snap at him.
Mood swings are something that seemed to be a daily thing after the summer. If I could go back I would do a lot of things differently.
"You better get a move on" She suggests "you don't want to be late"
I pull out my phone as heading to my room.
Give me two minutes xox
I had slept in my clothes again last night. So I'm already dressed. I'm wearing my ripped black jeans and grey tank top with black and white converses.
