"Jenny" I call as entering the dorm.

I put my cell phone on charge immediately before searching the dorm with my eyes.

We had two single beds, that both had a nightstand each. There are two desks, two coat hangers, two chest of drawers, two or so windows, with a nice bathroom.

"Hey, where's Marcus?" She calls from the bathroom.

"He had class" I respond as walking through the dorm.

"Can you pass me my dress? It's on my bed" Jenny asks.

"Sure" I nod as picking up her floral summer dress and slipping it through door gap.

"So how was the car ride?"

"Fine" I respond quickly.

"Come on Eva" she sighs "I know things aren't good between you two"

Ugh, not another one.

"Things are fine" I sigh as sitting on my bed "I don't know what you're talking about"

"Its just Ned hinted-" Jenny starts.

For fuck sake Ned.

"Ned doesn't know what he's saying" I look down at my fingertips.

"Does Marcus know what happened?" She questions as walking out of the bathroom, then stopping beside her bed.

Jenny has no idea what happened. She's trying to play detective but bitch knows that I'm not giving anything away.

"He thinks I'm being distant because of the whole high school to college transition" I admit.

"You don't need to tell me what's going on with you but please...tell him" she begs.

"He'll hate me" I struggle to say.

"He could never-" Jenny shakes her head.

"Yes he could" I cut her off "and he will so can we please just drop it"

"What went on between you and Sam over the summer? We all know something happened" she announces.

Of course, they all know somethings up. They're all so close-knit, I can't do anything without everybody knowing.

"Nothing happened" I deny.

"That's bullshit and you know it" Jenny argues.

"Jen just drop it" I raise my voice in frustration.

"Fine" she nods "Is it about what happened with your dad and that guy that kidnapped you?"

"Jenny-" I firm my gaze in annoyance.

For fuck sake she's insensitive.

"Alright I'll stop" she makes a hand stop gesture.

"Good" I roll my eyes.

"You're different though" she observes, "I noticed it as soon as I got back from my family vacation in Fiji...and I'm not the only one"

With that, she's a walk back into the bathroom to hair dry her wet hair. I fall back in my bed to glance at the pale walls. Yeah, I've noticed it too.

"And nobody knows?" Raff questions as I walk through campus with my cell phone pressed against my ear.

"Only you and Ned" I admit "and Jason"

"Maybe you should-" he starts.

I know exactly what he's about to say. Same thing that everybody has been telling me.
