"So he was burned to death?" I questioned the nurse.
"Yes, doc. It happened just this morning. His mother forgot to turn off the stove before she left the house."
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "Couldn't he have turned it off? I mean he looks like he's in his 20s."
"You see doc, Hoseok here is, well, was a special child. According to his medical records, a bullet pierced his head when he was 10, but luckily, the surgery of removing the bullet was successful. Because of the surgery, Hoseok couldn't control his limbs, nor could he speak properly. That's why he couldn't turn off the stove."
Guilt and pity filled me at the thought of him. Oh how he must've suffered; him and his mother. "Poor kid was also a dancer. The best of the nation too," Nurse Joy added.
"Alright. Thank you Nurse Joy. I'll tend to the body now."
Nurse Joy bowed, and walked out of the room, leaving me alone with Hoseok. I stood there in silence, staring at Hoseok's burnt body on the examination table.
This is one downfall of being a doctor: seeing patients like him come through those double doors. My heart felt heavy. Poor Hoseok.
"Your body may not be in the best condition right now, but at least your suffering stops here. You're free now Hoseok," I sniffled, and quickly wiped away the small runaway tear.
I walked over to the other side of the room to grab some latex gloves. It's time to work now, Y/N.
As I was gathering the supplies I needed, I heard something fall to the floor. I turn to see it was the metal tray that was on the table next to Hoseok. Hm. How weird.
I made my way towards the tray, and put it back on the table. When I turned around, Hoseok's arm was sticking out to the side. C'mon Y/N you're just paranoid.
With my latex gloves on, I slowly put his arm back on the table and underneath the blanket. A sudden shriek escapes my mouth when his other hand grasps mine.
Hoseok immediately sat upright, and looked at me dead in the eyes. Incoherent moans and groans came from him as he pulled me closer. I tried to pull away, but for a dead guy, he's fucking strong.
With my free hand, I grabbed the metal tray, and whacked him on the head. Hoseok managed to release me, but he was raging.
Hoseok stood up, and shambled towards me. I ran across the room, trying to find anything that'll make him unconscious, but he was too fast.
"Hoseok, this isn't you. Please, you're a good guy, and you're dead. Just move on!" He stopped in his tracked when I communicated with him. He looked confused like he understood me.
I let out a sigh of relief when he stopped. Something clicked in him, and he looked furious. I backed up into a corner as he shuffled towards me.
Hoseok let out a load roar, before he charged at me. But all I felt was blood. I opened my eyes to see a headless Hoseok, and two men in front of me.
"Wh-who are you? What just happened? Why-"
"Don't worry doc, he's long gone now." The tall man cut me off. The other one who was holding a knife, examined the body.
"Sam and Dean Winchester. Nice to meet you."
