Savannahs Pov:

I watched Katelyn's mouth drop open as the old car turned into the true half of our experiment. On the outside, the car had only doubled in size. Whereas the once crowded interior had almost tripled in space.

I hit the shrink button and typed in the type of bird that I wanted us to transform into. Katelyn gasped slightly as the world outside the windows and cameras suddenly expanded. When the shrinking cycle was complete the windows switched to cameras as fake feathers sprouted up in its place.

The change was so minimal that I doubt Katelyn would have noticed. I looked through all the cameras giving me a 360° view of our surroundings.

From the camera facing the end of the driveway, my extreme vision saw an alarming sight. A bunch of black vehicles were slowly coming up the driveway in our direction.

Wings extended from Cara's side as I gently took off. We landed on a tree as they started exiting their cars. They all wore familiar sunglasses and uniforms.

I gasped in horror, these were the same strangers who hunted my family and they were headed towards my newest house.

I leaned over and pushed the force field button and prepared my own personal force field as well. Voices started approaching through the woods and I flew us higher into the tree as Katelyn nervously looked my way. Below us, Katelyn's parents and several of the strangers marched out of the woods all of them carrying guns. I heard Katelyn gasp as they followed some invisible trail.

"They're following where I used my powers!" She whispered too low for the normal ear to hear. I drew in my power of sight and air element into the vehicle completely, and I silently soared to a new branch in a different tree hoping not to draw attention to us.

Several minutes passed of silence as I watched them search my house and tear the place apart. Budgie whined as he watched them throw destroyed furniture we had received from the previous owner of the house. They searched the barn and separated off into the woods I sighed in relief glad that they had not figured out where we were.

I quietly flew from branch to branch until we figured we were far enough away. A gun fired in the distance and we shared uneasy glances. We decided that we had seen enough and we flew away.

The trees disappeared and we flew over the Bay heading south. My mom and I had agreed that it was no longer safe on this side of the ocean.

"Have you ever been to the ocean?" I asked hoping to start a conversation; she looked up from the window at me in surprise.

"No, I've only ever been allowed to go into the village on special occasions." She replied her eyes lighted with excitement. I figured perhaps another topic would be more appropriate.

"I wonder how big an ocean really is..." She commented as a phone number appeared in front of the windshield. An automated voice read the phone number and it switched to a photo of my mother with mom written over top.

"Answer," I told the Bluetooth as I landed in a tree. "Request video chat."

"Request denied." The voice intoned as it connected with my mother. I took off again.

"Where are you Savannah!" My mothers desperate but relieved voice demanded.

"We are taking the ocean route mom, why?" I asked noting the desperation in her voice.

"You have her with you... Ok, well we stopped at some old, abandoned campsite for the night and we were just reviewing the security cameras because Bear forgot them and we saw our house completely burnt down. They're calling us terrorists and claiming we kidnapped Katelyn to government officials!" My mother wailed over the phone. A slight scratching sound signalled interference and I bit my lip nervously as I landed on a branch.
