Mïkas Pov:

"So knowing is a power?" I asked in the cafeteria as I went over the main languages once again. I would have my translator at all times, but it was still handy to have an understanding of finer nuances.

A couple hours into our voyage we had entered a larger Spêtsïalen ship. The larger ship was swift and possessed a few weapons should the žilíqär decide to attack us; unlike with the little speeder, I had left Umberg on.

"It's a royal power, but your born with it and it just makes you know things, so yes and no for it being a power." The man I had been talking to replied. I nodded in mock understanding as he explained this to me. I still had only a vague concept of this idea.

Three more days and we would be on earth. I had been picked for the English sector, as my mother-tongue was similar to that of this language. I spoke the universal language like everyone else, but the people on Umberg could also speak our native tongue.

The other languages in my sector are why I possess a translator. A translator is hooked behind our ear so that only an extremely attentive eye can spot it. It connects to our nerves so that when we hear another language spoken the translator can filter and modify the sounds into a recognizable language.

My research told me that the heir I was looking for would be:
1. The oldest out of all human Spêtsïalens.
2. The number one target of the Žïlïqar.
3. Powers evident (ex: eyes more rainbow/ glowing, hair slightly waving like it's caught in a breeze. Unfortunately these symptoms led for all-powerful Spêtsïalens.)

If I found the heir not only would I get my application for the royal Spêtsïalens army accepted, but I would bring honour to my family and planet. Both of these things would mean the universe to me.

My first plan upon reaching Earth would be to gain alliances with human Spêtsïalens. They would help me out on this foreign planet because they would know their own methods better than me.

According to my records, the year should be about 2115, although we never paid much attention to the humans before now. The last researched date was my grandfathers in 2043.

The earth still looked green and blue but more grey cities covered the globe on my grandfather's report. Cities were as big as a small country in some places.

I looked at the globe and wondered where the heir was. Whether the heir was a male or a female, and if I were to find the heir...

I spun the globe looking at all the places. I clicked the border button and tiny red lines appeared on the screen. I traced my finger along the borders on my globe.
