Chapter 3: Death of Fire Fist Ace

"What do you mean impossible, Haredas?!"

Nami yelled at Haredas, who just explained to her that Weatheria unable to bring her to Marineford. 

"How could this be? Stop joking to me! You know I don't have much time!"

Nami grabbed Haredas and shook him furiously. The other Weatheria's scholars tried to stop the furious orange-haired girl. 

"Stop it, girl! You will kill Mr Haredas!"

"There is nothing we can do, Weatheria is an island follows the wind to move, can't be controlled like a ship."

Nami took a deep breath, tried to stay clam after listening to the others' explanation.

"So what now? I have to arrive Marineford before everything is over! Is there any way to get there?" Nami looked at the scholars, waiting for an answer. 

All of them shook their heads. Nami was completely pissed off. When Haredas woke up, all the scholars had been knocked down. He looked at Nami who was ready to knock him down, raised his hand.

"Don't worry, there is a way. Just a bit... exciting."

Nami put down her fist, looked at him, doubting him. "What do you mean *exciting*?"

"Well, literally." Haredas released an evil smile.

After 10 minutes---

"The only way? Not joking?"

Nami looked at Haredas seriously. Haredas nodded. 

"The only way to get there on time."

Nami looked at the cloud in front of her, considering the possibilities of survival.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Trust me. Besides, you don't have much time left." Haredas encouraged Nami. 

After a century of time, Nami nodded hesitantly. Haredas smiled and pushed her onto the cloud.

"Remember, before you land, release the air pressure inside your clima tact . If not, prepare for your own coffin."

Nami nodded and grabbed tight. The cloud feels like a marshmallow, so soft and vulnerable. If there is any other choice, Nami swears she would not choose to sit on a cloud and float to Marineford.

"Well then, good luck." Haredas pressed the button and released the cloud. Nami felt she was descending.

"Thank you, Haredas!" Nami smiled to the kind little old scholar and waving goodbye. Haredas smiled and waved.

"Oh, almost forgot. You have around a hour to get there before the cloud evaporate. Take your time."

"WHAT?!" 

Nami was shocked and all she could remember was Haredas's evil smile. She swore she would never forget that stupid grin on the old man's face for a while.

In Marineford---

"ACE!"

Luffy watched Ace slowly fell down and he rushed to him, grabbed his body. All he could feel were the heat of Ace body temperature and the heat of the blood.

"...Help me tell Pop and everyone, and you Luffy. Thank you...for loving someone like me who is good for nothing...and who has such sin inside his blood...Thank you for loving me!"

Ace hugged Luffy and smiled with tears. Luffy listened to Ace and tears just won't stop. When Ace fell off from him, he looked at his lifeless brother unbelievably.

'"..Ace..."

Luffy couldn't believe it, his brother, the man who stay by his side when they were small... died...in front of him...
