Chapter 40: Big Pirates Era Battle

Every Straw Hat crews had been extremely busy recently, the atmosphere between the pirate crews had been really intense and anxious these days.

Once Luffy had decided to march toward Marie Joe to save his brother Sabo and Princess Vivi of Alabasta, of course it brought another serious argument to everyone especially to other pirate crews.

Law and the Heart Pirates had basically given up on convincing Luffy and that day they immediately left the alliance without saying goodbye. After all based on their deal, their alliance supposed to be ended once they took down Kaido, there was no reason for them to stay with the Straw Hat Pirates anymore.

For the former Whitebeard Pirate, even though they didn't directly rejected the plan due to their relationship with Jinbei, Marco as the captain of the crews didn't agree to the plan.

However, Marco did say he was going to gather the remaining former Whitebeard pirates in order to prepare for the coming battle that might got every pirates involved. Besides, Blackbeard was still searching for the remained Whitebeard pirate especially those with Devil Fruit power.

No matter what, the Straw Hat Pirates was heading straightly to Marie Joe was a decided fact already. 

After everything was settled down, every Straw Hat crews immediately began to prepare for the coming battle with the great forces in the world. This time they were facing the World Government and the World Nobles Tenryuubito behind it, not to mention the entire force of the Marine.

Seriously, the situation was nothing better than the time they against the Yonko at all, maybe even worse this time.

With Nami's navigation, they managed to find a small isolated island for restoring their supplies. Franky and Usopp went to collect materials to upgrade Sunny, Sanji and Brook went to gather ingredient, Chopper went to collect herbs to make medicine for Luffy and restored the medical supplies.

While the supply group went aboard, the remained crews stayed on Sunny and worked on their tasks. While Robin and Nami had been working on decoding the collected copies of poneglyph, Zoro took the job to take care Luffy which basically he just needed to keep Luffy stayed in bed according to Chopper's order.

Jinbei was practicing on trimming Sunny's sails due to his battle experience with Big Mom Pirates, he got a feeling his skill on trimming the sails would be very helpful in the coming battle.

Inside the library, Robin was working on decoding the copies of poneglyph while Nami was trying to wiretap the channel of the Marine's station, hoping to collect some useful information for the coming battle.

"I can't believe their conversation is such boring! Who would want to know what today's dinner and who you date?!" Nami growled frustratingly, face palmed.

"Bear with it. Most of them time their conversation is really boring." Robin smiled sympathetically to the navigator's complaint.

"But really, this is amazing Robin. How do you guys manage to collect their codes so clearly?" Nami waved the decoding notes of the Marine written by the Revolutionary, asked in amazement.

"They have their ways. I never ask too much as I know I was just temporarily staying with them." Robin shrugged.

"Anyway, with this I don't have to worry so much." Nami sighed in relief and put on the headphone again, continued her work.

Back to the cabin, Luffy frowned deeply and pouted at the ceiling, tried to move his hand but failed as his wrist was locked with Sea-Prism Stone handcuffs. Chopper expected Luffy might went wild after they left Sunny, so the reindeer had asked Zoro to lock their captain with the special handcuff before they left.
