Chapter 22: Reunion on Fishman Island

Weatheria---

Haredas frowned deeply to the screen, tried to find any sign of clues but failed again. He sighed deeply and sat on the chair, hands rubbing his temple.

"Still no sign of them?" He asked tiredly. Scholars inside the laboratory shook their heads sadly. Haredas sighed louder to their response.

"We will find them, Mr Haredas. Don't give up yet." One of the scholars said. Haredas nodded frustratingly and went back to his seat. Eyes moved back to the screen.

"Keep your eyes wide. Check for any sign of special thunder storm or lightening. They can be anywhere." Haredas said. Everyone nodded and back to work. None of them knew how long they had been working in this situation already.

Haredas yawned and rubbed his eyes, tried to keep his eyes open even he didn't sleep much these days. Same to the others, most of them had been working so hard these days and didn't have a good rest.

A sudden explosion outside the laboratory startled everyone and completely awoken them all. Everyone screamed and it was a chaos inside the lab right now.

"Quiet! Come out with me!" Haredas yelled and floated outside the laboratory the first, soon everyone followed behind. Once they got out, all they could see were dust and fire everywhere. Haredas coughed and covered his nose and eyes, tried to figure out what happened here.

Their vision were blocked by dust and flame, couldn't see what happened with that explosion. Just when they were considering going back to the laboratory, someone pointed at the dust.

"Something is approaching us!" One of the scholars yelled. Everyone followed his direction and saw a gloomy figure was indeed coming to them. Haredas frowned and planning the next step.

Weatheria had never been invaded before, due to the special location, it was basically impossible for anyone to attack them. However, everything was possible in Grand Line. Things that never happened could happen in the future now.

Cough, cough!

They raised their brows when they heard a coughing from the mist, and it sounded like a female voice, a familiar one.

"Can it be?!" One of the scholars widened his eyes, said. Everyone stared at the voice and wondering the possibility of miracle.

Slowly, a woman figure walking carefully from the mist. Half of her face was covered with a silver mask that only revealed her crimson eyes. Everyone felt their eyes welled up with tears when they met those pair of familiar eyes, they stood at there and watched the girl walked to them slowly.

The girl finally stood in front of them, head titled. She crossed her arms and looked at them with obvious joy and amusement toward their shocked reaction and faces. Although her face was covered, they could image she was smiling behind the mask.

"Miss me guys?" The girl spoke in a teasing tone but this time none of them was mad with her.

Haredas sniffed and wiped off a tear from his eye, smiled brightly and watched everyone rushed to the girl and tried to hug her but being avoided swiftly by the girl.

Few days later---

"Mr Haredas, she is leaving today?" One of the scholars asked, looked at the direction of the young lady's house.

Haredas stroked his long beard and nodded. "She really work hard these 2 years. It's time for her to reunite with her friends. Her schedule has been delayed for us already, we can't keep her any longer."

"Well, Weatheria will be lonely again..." Another scholar sighed sadly.

In these 2 years, Weatheria had become lively and everyone become more passionate and cheerful because of Nami. Although she always made fun on them, they would no doubt missed her after she left here.
