Chapter 37: Brothers

Luffy crossed his arms with his legs crossed together, pouted at the smiling navigator unhappily. Not only him but also the two of the monster trio, standing aside with a gloomy expression, eyes glued on the orange-haired girl.

"My, my, he is very clever." Robin smiled and gave the candy hid in her right hand to the baby, earned a cheerful smile of the little human.

"So this is what human baby is? Can I do some research on him later Nami?" Chopper studied the baby in Nami's arms curiously, asked.

Nami kept the smile on her face and gave the reindeer a gentle fist of love, tried not to set up a bad role model for the baby. The baby played the candy in his hands, seemed curious and happy about it. Then, he raised his hands and gave the candy to Nami with big watery eyes that gave everyone around a shot straight to their poor hearts.

"Why are you so cute?? Mo!" Nami screamed and rubbed her cheek to the baby's cheek, earned another round of baby giggle.

"Nami, Nami, it's my turn now!" Usopp said eagerly and made a grimace to the baby, smiled widely when the baby returned him a big smile.

"Boo-ya! Look me, I have no eyes." Brook tried to play with the baby but being stopped by Robin who claimed his action was just scaring the baby.

"Let me make some toys for him later. I'm sure he will like robot." Franky grinned and already planning what kind of toys he should make for the baby later.

Marco watched the scent of the Straw Hat and his crews amusingly, smirked teasingly to the grumpy mood of the monster trio toward the joyful babysitters' group. He thought he could see thunder clouds slowly gathered upon the three's heads already.

The Whitebeard temporary captain was quite enjoyed the scent of the trio monsters of Straw Hat Pirates watching everyone's attention on the baby, especially a certain lady's mind was completely glued on the baby.

"Nami, what is our next destination?"

"It takes time for Robin finish the transcription of the Poneglyph, be patient."

"Nami, shouldn't you go to navigate the ship right now? I don't want to be scolded by you because I just take a nap."

"Oh, it's okay. Jinbei is taking my place right now. You can take your nap as long as you want."

"Nami-san, I have just prepared some fresh orange juice and baked some muffins, would you like to have some?"

"I'm fine, thank you. By the way, can you prepare some warm milk? I think the baby is hungry."

The strong jealousy aura from the three was getting stronger and stronger with the answers of the orange-haired girl, especially when she never pay them a glance and only looked at the baby in her arms.

Luffy frowned deeply and pouted, went to the group and grabbed the baby from Nami's arm.

"Luffy! Watch out, don't hurt him!" Nami screamed and immediately rushed to Luffy, tried to get the baby back but Luffy avoided her hands.

Even though he didn't like this baby, he still took Nami's words and held the baby's armpit gently. He titled his head and studied the small human in his hands. The latter followed Luffy's action and titled his head, smiled widely to him and hands reaching to him.

"Oh my, it seems like the baby like our captain as well." Robin smiled softly.

Everyone laughed to the uncomfortable face of Luffy and the giggling baby in his hands, knew the young captain had no experience with baby and enjoyed the scent of the awkwardness of the Straw Hat.
