Chapter 20: Kingdom of magic

Heavy, painful, exhausted and dark.

These were all Nami felt right now.

She wanted to opened her eyes but she couldn't, she felt her eyelids were as heavy as rocks, very difficult for her to open. She tried to move her body but it felt like a ship rode over her body and broke her ribs and bones. Everything felt so bad, she didn't like it.

"...what happen?...where have you..."

".....another world...after the attack..."

"...who is she?...and you?..."

"Please.....save her....I can't...."

".....try our best....go and rest..."

"....Nami...I can't..."

Who is talking? What's going on?

Before she could continue, the pain of her body had made her choice and she felt into darkness, embraced by warmth and silence.

When she finally able to open her eyes, she blinked several time to get used to the light. She felt the softness of the bed sheet, the warmth of the sunlight entered the room and laid on her face, the gentle breeze outside the window, the white curtain. Nami looked around with confusion and she tried to get up.

"Ouch." She jolted back to her bed with pain. 

She looked at her chest and bandages all around her chest and her waist. Her hands were also covered with some light bruises. She took a slight breath and noticed her ribs were broken and her chest was hurting like hell. She laid back and moaned softly.

What is going on here?

Nami staring at the ceiling and asked herself quietly. She tried to remember every small detail but her head was hurting and spinning, she couldn't think clearly. She rubbed her temple gently and sighed.

"Oh, you're awake!" A cheerful female voice came from the door.

Nami raised her head up and saw a small girl smiling happily to her. The girl came to her with a bow of water and some bandages. She put the things on the top of the drawer and turned to Nami with a smile.

"How do you feel? Any pain?" She asked softly.

Nami blinked at her and shook her head slowly.

"You have a very serious injury. We all thought you won't able to make it." The girl said. Nami watched her put the towel into the water and then twisted it, put it on her forehead.

"You saved me?" Nami asked slowly. The girl smiled and tilted her head.

"Well, officially, master is the one who saved you. I just take care of you."

Nami looked at her with question. Before she could ask more, the girl shook her head and looked at her seriously.

"Now all you need is rest. Later master will come and talk to you. He will explain everything to you." 

The girl smiled after Nami nodded. She pulled the sheet over Nami and left the room quietly. Nami looked around and wondered how she came here, what happened, and where is Laxus-

Oh no.

Laxus.

She totally forgot about him.

With the name of Laxus being reminded, Nami felt her mind was exploded. Memories flow into her head and made her scream in pain. Her screaming must be very loud so that explained why suddenly a bunch of people entered her room with alert and rushed to her nervously.
