Chapter 27: Zou and Minks

"This...this is horrible..." Brook muttered unbelievably to the scent, couldn't believe it.

In front of them, countless buildings were destroyed and collapsed. Bodies of animal everywhere on the street. There were horrible scratches on the broken walls and ground. They almost thought they had been to a battlefield instead of a country.

"All because of Caesar's weapon..." Nami frowned to the scent, it was a shock to her. Momo who was in dragon form shook in fear, eyes perked with tears to the scent.

Sanji took out a cigarette, dropped his sweat. "The country is almost destroyed. Probably those guys we met did it." He said.

Nami turned to him, eyes wide with surprise. "You mean those attacked us?"

"Even Caesar has removed the deadly gas, but based on such situation, we can assume that large amount of enemies are still somewhere on this island." Sanji studies around carefully, spoke out his assumption.

"Are you being serious?" Momo who was now carried by Brook, asked worriedly.

"It's just possible. According to that gas bastard, Minks seems to be a ferocious tribe. It might lead to a depressing result if we save them all...." Sanji explained.

"Are you-teia guys Jack's allies too?!"

A furious female voice broke the heavy silence. They turned to the voice and saw a female Mink rushing to them with a sword. Without warning, the Mink jumped to the air and launched her attack to Nami who was closest to her.

Nami widened her eyes and immediately blocked her sword with her sorcery clima tact. The powerful pressure on her sorcery clima tact made her gritted, amazed and shocked by Mink's unbelievable strength.

"Nami-san!" Sanji widened his eyes and yelled worriedly. The others took out their weapon ad prepared for any sudden attack.

"Wait! It's okay!" Nami yelled loudly, hoped the Mink would stop and listened to them.

She's weaken by the poison!

The two separated and didn't let their guard down. Nami frowned at the Mink who was poisoned and weakened a lot. The Mink covered her mouth and coughed painfully. Even her condition was worse, she didn't plan to give up yet.

The Mink gritted her teeth to conceal the pain of the poison, the life in her eyes was fading slowly. She took a deep breath and attacked Nami again. Nami saw her chance and avoided the attack, jumped and took down the Mink. She sat on her and pointed at her throat with her sorcery clima tact.

Sanji sweated nervously and paled, eyes widened in shock when he saw the Mink took out an explosive. "Nami-san! She has an explosive!" He yelled desperately.

"What?!" Nami paled when she saw the explosive holding in the Mink's hand. Before she moved, the Mink grabbed her thigh tightly, not planning to let her go.

The Mink gritted her teeth tightly, eyes glaring at Nami with tremendous hatred. "I will never forgive you-teia people! Never!" She yelled furiously. Even her body was poisoned for a long time, her mind didn't seem weaken at all.

"What did we do to you?! What do you gain from killing us?! The person you-teia are looking for isn't here!" She cried angrily.

"This country with a millennium long of history! How much do you have to destroy to get your fill?!"

The Mink seemed losing her strength to talk already and slowly laid back, panting. Her hand never let go of the explosive and the Straw Hat Pirates watched the scent nervously, planning their next step.
