Chapter 35: Sacred Ocean

Nami studied the ocean surface with the telescope, also navigating the direction of their ship. She frowned deeply when the loud noises from the kitchen area kept disturbing her for a while already.

"It goes up! Yahoo!!"

Luffy's cheerful voice rang loudly from the kitchen area, soon more cheerful or despair voices rang after one by one. More ticks appeared on Nami's forehead, signaling her fury limit was reaching to the maximum level.

"Nami, this direction is correct?" Jinbei sensed the limit of the navigator, tried to distract her from the noises.

"Yeah, keeping heading straight. So far no big chances of the weather or the sea wave." As Jinbei hoped, Nami answered him and distracted from the noises for a moment.

After confirming no danger nearby, Nami stretched lazily at the edge of the ship, sighed loudly.

"I don't get them, increased bounty only means greater danger. Why they can always react so excited?"

Jinbei chuckled lightly to Nami's complaint, controlling the rudder steadily. "You can see as some kind of achievement, I guess."

"What kind of achievement is that..." Nami sighed and rubbed her temple, totally unaccepted this reason.

"Nami! Come down here! You have new bounty as well!" 

Luffy's excited voice once again destroyed the nerve limit of the navigator. Jinbei watched Nami went down with a forced fake smile, closed his eyes and muttered his prayer for his captain sympathetically. Soon, sounds of the fist of love echoed loudly on the ship that even the Heart Pirate's submarine next to Sunny could hear that.

"So? What makes you all so overreacting?" Nami crossed her arms, looked at the big meat balls faces in front of her expressionlessly.

Usopp passed her the newest wanted poster with a shaking hand, Nami snatched it swiftly and looked at it, next widened her eyes in shock. Her hands were shaking very obviously and without a reason, everyone thought they heard something broken, sound of a thread broke-

"What on earth you think it's a good news?! Idiots!!!"

Another round of fist of love echoed loudly in the kitchen area, those who managed to escape this torture all sighed in relief, looked at the victims sympathetically. Robin rubbed Nami's back and passed her a glass of water, let her cooled down slowly.

"No doubt the Marine and the World Government will come after us and kill us all!" Nami cried and felt her world was hopeless already, dark future awaited her.
