I hope different things
Crazy amazing things
I hope they aren't too much to ask
The sky's the limit
Shout your hopes to the sky for all to hear
Let them hear your outcry.
Let it out.
I hope that one day our families find peace
Love doesn't run out
I hope that we realize the damage we're causing
Our actions of violence seize to exist
We save our minds before we lose them
Realize the needs of our children
The sacrifice of our parents
The death of our self-esteem
Trickery of our youths being under the spell
"How many likes is my life worth?"
I hope one day I won't hide or cry when I see you
I hope one day I could let my guard down
And not have a care in the world about what anyone says
I hope the best for you and us.
