Level less wind.
Free in form, free in flight
Take me away,
with the leaves and the dust
Do not judge me, for you do not judge the wind.
Freedom given unwillingly is all I ask for
If a day, I could be level less wind
I would tell you all the hidden things I threw away into disarray,
I would fly past your house, and tell you all the words you need to hear, the words the world couldn't give to you
I would let peace be in your mind and for you head to rest for sleepless nights
I would howl, but only to warn you of the cracks in your walls.
Floating on words, if the sea was full of them, I'd lay in it all day
I'd let the sea carry me, carry me far away
Both of us waiting for each of the words to reach us
Both of us staring into a sky full of hope, waiting on each other
Only, there's a storm coming.
I told you already,
I'd brave through the storm with you,
I know it's hard to believe,
but I'm telling you the truth,
out of desperate lies.
