[FLIGHT OF A BIRD]

Crashland
"I hate you I don't want to see you ever again"
Just to know your final words to me
Is this what it's come to
Childish demeanour
Too careless so we've lost
Too caught up in our words
Sorry seems galaxies way
Each stab of poison rooting far deep for us to root out
Our words cut into each other like a knife, temporary
Blindness has struck me
Head disconnected from the heart
dysfunctional Is all I am now,
your smile and your laugh is now indented in my mind
We find a new flame starting
learn to control or burn down a house
One word makes the storm settles
replaces that pain with a realization
Just when I thought nothing was left
Sick of our own company
Dare me to ask the question "Do you care anymore"
Growing pains make us grow apart
Mid-flight, learning each other storms and wraths
But not afraid to lose, we don't know the meaning of it
So glad to have each other
Eye contact. Iris glimmering, satisfaction
Joyous laughter of careless children filling the room
Early day butterflies, like learning a new language
Sun rising on the horizon, dawn breaks as birds singsong, uneasy flight
I'd never expected you to be the firework in my life
Hiding like wheat through weeds
Our relationship. Like the tingling kiss, you'd leave on my heart
Like the fresh smell of mints laid on a field
Take off
