Tears fall from the sky rapping on your heart
The fall fast pace and soak into the ground of fear
You shiver from the cold, I warned you to take your coat before your feelings walk out the door
Now the storm has passed, you look up waiting for hope
Hope doesn't expire
It runs out
And respires
So I bask in your storm and wait
for lightning to come
Clear skies hail down on me
No choice but to smile madly
On my masked face
Although I'm wrapped up in thick sheets to protect me from the storm outside
I still feel cold.
