To have someone else causes this irresistible pain when you want to be that "someone"
You look at her in the way I need
Treat him amazing and couldn't care less about how I feel
Have me on the sideline as the second choice
But it'll never be your first
I'll never be enough or sufficient to you
I tried to kill my feelings
You brought them back
Not false hope, I'm afraid
I just heard some words that I did not need to hear right now
Changing everything in a few seconds
How do I forget?
Everything was going to good, bound to happen before arriving at a destination,
I told my feelings to depart, instead they re-bounded
So technical foul, flag on the play, book me with your cards
Just remind me to forget
I let my feelings jump into my thoughts and everything I do
"If you imagined it, chances are it'll happen"
Maybe I dodged a bullet
Maybe I was imagining things
Maybe it was lies
Maybe I just died
You don't get my heart
Yes you make my heart beat
But not how my mind speaks
You don't get how my heart beats
Or my heartache
Intensifies more
