I went downstairs and ate my breakfast like usual.
Then after breakfast as I was watching tv, something suddenly occurred to me. When Jahi showed me that conversation yesterday, there was something in there about rumours...😟 I forgot to ask about that.
The doorbell rang so I picked up my book bag and headed out the door with Jahi. As soon as he saw me I noticed he was avoiding eye contact.
"Hey" I smiled.
"Wassup" he continued to look at the ground.
"What's wrong Ja? Why you so quiet?" I asked.
"No reason.." he lied.
"Did something happen?" I asked.
"No, it's nothing don't worry bout it..." he assured.
"Ok..." I sighed.
As we were walking through the halls today, something was different. I swear everybody in the whole damn school who saw me did the exact same thing.
