Chapter Seven

Holly's P.O.V

As Jimin unlocked the door to his house, I managed to relax after hearing his words. I smiled to myself as he opened the door wide enough to let me in, I thanked him as I brought my things into the house and looked around. The house wasn't modern, but it wasn't old-fashioned. It felt warm and cosy and I smiled looking around it, I saw some pictures of Jimin and his brother when they were younger and of more recent times and they made your smile grow wider. They look quite alike, but I could tell them apart quite easily.

"Let's put our things into my bedroom now and then we can do whatever we want" He said and I nodded, I picked up my things and he picked up his own, and I followed him up the staircase and into his room. We placed our things in opposite corners and we saw that someone had already placed a couple mattresses stacked on top of each other in his room, which made the level of the makeshift bed match the height of Jimin's bed. Along with that a blanket and pillows were neatly organised on top of it. I smiled looking at it, I looked over to Jimin and he was smiling too.

"That looks pretty comfy, that was definitely my Mom" he said, making me laugh but I nodded in agreement.

"It definitely does, I'll have to thank her" I said as I sat on it lightly. "I can confirm that it is indeed very comfortable" I said laying back onto it, I heard Jimin laugh as I closed my eyes.

We heard a knock at the door which made me jump a little bit, I sat up as we saw Mrs Park peek her head into the slightly open door. She let herself into the room and smiled when she saw us. She went over to Jimin and hugged him, who of course hugged her back.

"Oh Jimin I've missed you" she said and I heard her chuckle at her own words, Jimin laughed too as he agreed with her.

"I have missed you too Mom" He said and they pulled out of the hug. Mrs Park then turned to me and walked over, she hugged me and I was at first startled, then hugged her back.

"Lovely to finally meet you, Holly" She said as she smiled, I smiled back and nodded.

"It's nice to meet you too Mrs Park" I said, then reaching for the gift, "This is for you, for letting me stay this Christmas" I said handing her the box, she looked surprised and smiled lovingly.

"Thank you dear, but you didn't have to, it's a pleasure to see a new, dear friend of Jimin's" She said and I smiled.

She opened the box and revealed the bottle of wine which I had selected. It was one of my parents' favourites, probably because it was one of the more expensive ones. They do deserve it as they're letting someone they've only just met stay in their house for a family holiday. Mrs Park's eyes widened when she saw it and looked up to me with a wide smile.

"This is lovely, you shouldn't have spent so much" She said as she hugged me yet again, I chuckled but smiled at the same time as she did that.

"It's fine Mrs Park, you're allowing me to stay and that is lovely of you" I said and I heard her let a small laugh escape.

"I'll leave you two to settle in, I hope the bed which I created is comfortable enough" She said and I nodded.

"It definitely is, she made sure to test it properly before you came into the room" Jimin said with a laugh and I felt myself become slightly embarrassed.
