Chapter 9 - Antidote

(POV Ruri)

Tahimik kaming nakasakay sa sasakyan, pero ang nanalo ay ang curiosity ko kaya inusisa ko na si Rafael.

"Ano ba kasi ginawa mo sa loob ng CR?"

"Akala ko ba ayaw mo idamay kita sa mga kalokohan ko?" taas kilay niyang tanong sa akin habang nagdridrive.

"Ano nga? Na curious lang ako kasi hindi mo naman pinatay yung lalake, pero mukhang badtrip siya sayo."

"I just injected him with a deadly poison."

"Deadly poison? Eh di parang pinatay mo na din pala siya?"

"That man is Mr. Perez, a known sex offender and he is also handling a cyber sex den for minors. Maraming nawawalang menor de edad at siya ang dahilan. I threatened him that if he will not release his prisoners, the poison will kill him. I will just give him the antidote once he follow his part of the bargain."

"But there's no antidote right?"

"Of course there is. I'm a merciful man," natatawa niyang sagot as if laruan lang ang buhay ni Mr. Perez sa kanya.

"Totoo? Bibigyan mo pa siya ng antidote?"

"Ayaw mo ba? Do you want him to die? Ruri, ako ba talaga ang killer o ikaw?" tanong niya sa akin pero nakatutok pa rin ang mga mata sa daan.

"Considering what he did, yes gusto ko siya mamatay. Pero may batas tayo na sinusunod. Wag mo ilagay ang batas sa kamay mo."

"Ruri, I don't need you to remind me about laws and moral shits. I asked you to be my fuck buddy, not my fucking girlfriend."

Tama naman siya, bakit ba ko nakikialam? Eh ano naman ngayon kung mahuli ng mga pulis si Rafael?

"Paano mo ibibigay kay Mr. Perez ang antidote?" tanong ko sa kanya.

Ayokong mag-away kami dahil feeling ko, ako ang wala sa lugar. I don't know much about him and why he is doing these things. I should not be questioning him for what he is doing. Hindi ko alam, pero baka may tinatago siyang mabigat na reason.

"I gave it to a friend of mine. He will handle the rest. Ruri, I am not a vigilante killer, I have a code. I told Mr. Perez that the only way he will receive the antidote is if he will release his prisoners and admit his crimes by midnight or he is dead."

"So kapag ginawa niya yun, ligtas na siya?"

"Only for thirty days. The antidote will just prolong his life for thirty days. Ruri, I can't let that man live. He destroyed so many lives and his life is not even enough as a payment for all his victim's suffering."

Somehow, he has a point. Hindi sapat ang buhay ni Mr. Perez para sa mga buhay ng mga menor de edad na bata na sinira niya. He will have a not so painful death samantalang ang mga biktima niya, buong buhay na magsusuffer.

"Rafael, di na ko makikipagtalo sayo. As you have said, I am just your fuck buddy."

"Good girl. Now, would you like me to take you home or would you like me to take you to fantasy land?" he asked with a mischievous smile.

Yung smile na parang may devious plans. Yung smile na sobrang sexy na nakakapagpabilis ng tibok ng puso ko.

"Anong fantasy land?" tanong ko sa kanya, but I can already feel his hands on my legs. Dahan dahan niyang inaangat ang dress ko until he has full access to me.

"Come on Ruri. I thought you're smart."

"Fantasy land? You mean sex?"

"I won't let you go home without being satisfied. This night is a success because of you, love," he said as he slide his finger inside me.

Wala na akong nagawa kundi mapapikit. This man can do anything to me and I will happily comply to do his bidding...
