Moonie couldn't get any sleep that night. He kept replaying over in his head Obsidian crying and hearing him through the walls. He wishes he was over there to comfort him and at least take the edge off of how Chrysoprase had treated him. Moonie slipped out of bed and sat down in front of the wall. He gently tapped the wall hoping he'd get a response from Obsidian. A couple minutes passed and he tried again tapping only a bit louder. From the other side, he could hear a soft tap back. Moonie smiled and leaned against the wall.

"Obby can you hear me" He whispered. He could hear Obsidian shuffle on the other side.

"Yeah, I can hear you Moonie" Obsidian's voice sounded raw.

"I'm sorry about what happened earlier," Moonie said gently. Obsidian didn't say anything but Moonie could hear him choke back tears.

"Don't cry Obby, I love you it's okay" Moonie started to say frantically. Obsidian couldn't help himself and started silently sobbing against the wall.

"It's gonna be okay Obsidian, Chrysoprase won't be around for much longer, Aquamarine is probably hating being fused right now. They'll be back soon enough" Moonie tried to comfort him.

"Chrysoprase is scary Moonie, I don't want to leave my room I can't," Obsidian said through tears. "I am pathetic I..." He was choking up and Moonie could tell he buried his face into his hands.

"I'm not gonna let Chrysoprase treat you like that" White Moonstone said. Though he regretted it as he had gotten a bit too loud.

Moonstone turned to see his door turn and slowly creak open. Chrysoprase stood there and his eyes were full of hate. He walked up to Moonie and grabbed him by the front of the shirt.

"Let me down, you fucking nasty bitch" He yelled and was squirming in his spot.

"Don't call me that again or I'll poof you seconds" Chrysoprase hissed.

"You can't treat Obsidian like he's garbage I won't let you" Moonie retorted. Chrysoprase moved his hand to Moonie's throat and started to squeeze. Moonie kept squirming and choking for air.

"I will treat you two how I see fit," Chrysoprase said keeping his anger under control.

"You made Obby cry. That's not right" Moonie said in between choked breaths.

"I run this house!" Chrysoprase yelled and slammed him to the ground. Moonie took in a sharp breath and tried to crawl out of Chrysoprase reach but grabbed him again and threw him into the wall opposite to Obsidian's. As scared as Obsidian was on the other side he wasn't going to let his Moonie get flung around like this. He stepped back and ran right through the wall. Keeping his momentum he kept running to the next and grabbed Moonie as he smashed through the next wall letting the two into the living room. The two ran to the door and rushed outside and closed the door behind them. They ran as far from the house as they could to catch their breath. From where they were they could hear Chrysoprase scream and yell in the shack.

"Are you alright Moonie?" Obsidian said softly checking him to make sure he wasn't hurt.

"I'm fine Obby really just got flung around a bit" Moonie tried to laugh it off but was quite shook up from the ordeal.

"Let's fuse Moonie" Obsidian turned to him. "We can't be told what to do if we're Hematite."

"Yes please I don't like getting smashed into walls," Moonie said relieved. Obsidian pulled him in quickly. He spun him around and very soon Hematite stood where the two were.

"Jesus Christ those two cry a lot," Hematite said stretching his arms up.

He walked back to the house and turned the door. Inside he could see Chrysoprase facing the hallway looking at the carnage left behind by Obsidian. Hematite walked in and flopped on the couch. Chrysoprase turned around expecting to see the two gems back to apologize but instead there was a different gem.

"Who are you supposed to be, Moonstone's and Obsidian's sorry excuse for a fusion," He asked.

"I'm Hematite, and you must be the bossy gem that made Obsidian a mess," He said.

"I'm not going to be talked down to by someone like you" He snapped.

"You know you look kinda cute if it wasn't for your knack of yelling at people," Hematite said as he sprawled himself out.

"Ugh you're so unclean and ughhh" He groaned stomped into Aquamarine's room and slammed the door.

Hematite relaxed and fell asleep on the couch. He snored loudly and his shirt seemed to get pulled up a bit to expose his soft tummy. The next morning, Chrysoprase walked out to see him having rolled off the couch and onto the ground.

"Will you wake up and stop making such a mess" He yelled waking up Hematite.

"Hey, I was just being friendly and moving your pillows around. Think they look better this way" He said.

"It looks like a disaster in here," Chrysoprase said aggravated. Hematite rolled his eyes and threw a pillow at Chrysoprase's face.

"Lay off Chrys, there's no need to act like that," He said smugly.

Chrysoprase just walked over and started putting the pillows back in place while Hematite continued to relentlessly tease him. Once done he went to the walls and began cleaning the debris left from Obsidian busting through. Hematite walked over and slung an arm around Chrysoprase.

"I think we're gonna get along just fine," Hematite said and booped Chrysoprase on edge of his gem nose. Chrysoprase rolled his eyes and pushed him off.

"Just leave me be and don't make it hard for me to clean this house after what you did" He hissed.

"I didn't do any of this, When Obsidian comes out you can yell at him again but I'm innocent," He said with a smile.

"Will you shut up" Chrysoprase yelled "You're such a disgusting, scruffy fusion just leave me be while I clean"

"Oh because this is your house right. My bad I guess I didn't catch the memo" Hematite said back. Chrysoprase stood up and tried to push out his chest and be bigger and taller than Hematite but he was almost as tall and definitely quite bigger. Chrysoprase got even madder and without much thought slapped Hematite across the face. Hematite held a hand to his cheek and raised another to beat Chrysoprase to a pulp but he stopped himself. He let his hand down and sat back on the couch letting his anger brew. This was going to be a hard time together.
